KGW-TV has an excellent video story of a man arrested for setting fire to apartment building of 19 units.
Just Google “Portland arson” and you get two other arson news stories in the past 24 hours.
Contributing to Portland’s arson trends is the fact that liberal Portland prosecutors chose to drop many arson charges during the riots. One man was charged with setting fire to a Chase bank in downtown Portland, and was let go, in part, because no one was injured. Then after, defunding police, many arson charges were dropped because police process or hold suspects.
This man below was caught setting fires and booked, then released the same day and was soon found starting more fires.
This is what you get when a city chooses liberal soft-on-crime policies.
