Vice President Vance will travel to Pennsylvania next week to tout the benefits of the massive reconciliation package signed into law last week by President Trump.
Vance will visit West Pittston, Pa., next Wednesday, the vice president’s office announced. He is expected to extol the “one big, beautiful bill” Congress passed last week and that Trump signed at the White House on the Fourth of July.
The vice president’s travels are a sign that the administration may be ramping up its efforts to hit the road and sell the legislation, which polling has shown is unpopular with many Americans.
The legislation contains numerous major campaign promises from Trump’s 2024 bid for the White House. It extends the tax cuts Trump signed into law in 2017, which were set to expire later this year.
