The Chinese Communist Party thought they could buy up America piece by piece.
They never expected this kind of pushback from Washington, D.C.
And Donald Trump turned red with rage and launched one brutal attack that has China scrambling.
Trump administration declares war on Chinese farmland takeover
President Donald Trump just delivered a crushing blow to China’s attempts to control America’s food supply.
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced the National Farm Security Action Plan on Tuesday, a sweeping effort to kick Chinese nationals off American farmland and block future purchases.¹
“American agriculture is not just about feeding our families, but about protecting our nation and standing up to foreign adversaries who are buying our farmland, stealing our research, and creating dangerous vulnerabilities in the very systems that sustain us,” Rollins declared.²
The plan isn’t just talk.
The Trump administration will boot 700 foreign nationals from China and other hostile countries off their USDA contracts and research deals.³
Another 550 sketchy foreign entities will get the axe through new regulations.⁴
Attorney General Pam Bondi made it clear that the administration won’t tolerate China’s agricultural espionage any longer.
“Both of them have ties to the CCP,” Bondi said about two Chinese researchers charged with smuggling a dangerous crop-killing fungus into the United States.⁵
“Just days later, we arrested another Chinese citizen for sending packages of concealed biological materials into the United States,” she added. “It’s going to stop. FBI has opened over 100 bio-smuggler investigations in recent years. We will prosecute you. We will hold you accountable.”⁶
The scope of China’s farmland infiltration is staggering
The numbers behind China’s agricultural invasion are jaw-dropping.
Chinese nationals now control more than 265,000 acres of land in the United States, much of which is located near critical military bases.⁷
That includes nearly 200,000 acres of agricultural land specifically.⁸
Florida Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson has been sounding the alarm about this threat for years.
“China now controls nearly 200,000 acres of agricultural land in the U.S., leaving our food supply chain, our water quality and our national security interests vulnerable to the Chinese Communist Party,” Simpson warned.⁹
The situation in Florida alone should terrify every American.
More than 1 million acres of Florida farmland were under foreign ownership in 2020.¹⁰
That’s why Simpson pushed through legislation during the Biden administration to ban foreign control of agricultural land in the Sunshine State.
“As a matter of national security, I pushed for Florida’s ban on foreign control of our ag lands during the Biden Administration just after being elected Agriculture Commissioner of our state,” Simpson told Florida’s Voice.¹¹
“I am grateful to President Trump and Secretary Hegseth for recognizing the role our farmers play in securing our food supply chain as a critical matter of national security.”¹²
China’s agricultural espionage goes far beyond land purchases
The Chinese Communist Party’s strategy goes way beyond just buying farmland.
They’re stealing American research, smuggling dangerous biological materials, and positioning themselves to control our food supply.
Trade adviser Peter Navarro explained China’s long-term strategy during Tuesday’s press conference.
“The Art of War, a book [by] Sun Tzu, centuries-old, says that the acme of warfare is to win without firing a shot,” Navarro told reporters.¹³
“You fast forward to a book that was written by two high-ranking military officials in China called ‘Unrestricted Warfare.’ And you understand that we are indeed in a new world where kinetic warfare, it’s not the first choice of our rivals anymore.”¹⁴
“Rather, it is things like sending us seeds or trying to steal our seeds or trying to change the seeds. It is acquiring our supply chain in agriculture. It’s setting up spy shops on land next to military bases,” Navarro continued.¹⁵
The Chinese even bought Smithfield Foods and now control about one-eighth of the world’s pork supply.¹⁶
Nearly 20 military bases stretching from Florida to Hawaii sit dangerously close to Chinese-owned property, giving Beijing’s spies the perfect vantage point to watch American military operations using drone technology and surveillance equipment.¹⁷
This isn’t just about agriculture.
It’s about national security and America’s ability to feed itself without depending on our greatest adversary.
Trump’s plan goes after every aspect of China’s agricultural infiltration
The National Farm Security Action Plan isn’t messing around.
Secretary Rollins and other agencies will ban the purchase of farmland by Chinese nationals and work to “claw back” properties already bought.¹⁸
Trump’s team will also crack down on foreign land disclosure violations by jacking up penalties to 25% of the property’s market value for anyone who files late or lies about their ownership.¹⁹
The USDA will partner with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to focus on “American-made technology, research and innovation.”²⁰
The department will also compile lists of supply chain items for the agriculture industry that come from foreign adversaries and propose solutions.²¹
Even the food stamp program will be reviewed to ensure transnational criminal gangs aren’t “stealing from the poor and the American taxpayer by cloning point-of-sale devices and card skimming.”²²
The USDA burns through more than $405 million every single day on these programs, and Trump won’t let China exploit a single dollar of it.²³
This is what America First foreign policy looks like
The Chinese Communist Party spent decades infiltrating America’s agricultural sector while previous administrations looked the other way.
They bought up farmland, stole research, and positioned themselves to control our food supply.
But Donald Trump isn’t Joe Biden.
He won’t let China walk all over America while pretending to be our friend.
Secretary Rollins made it clear that protecting American agriculture is about more than just economics.
“Our national security requires fertile, free and domestically owned farmland,” she said.²⁴
Florida’s Simpson summed up what’s at stake perfectly: “Florida plays a critical role in our food supply chain and in the national security of the United States. Restricting foreign control of Florida’s agricultural land and key strategic military land will protect our state, provide long-term stability and preserve economic freedom.”²⁵
The Chinese Communist Party thought they could buy America piece by piece.
They were wrong.
Donald Trump is fighting back, and China is about to learn that America won’t be conquered from within.
