Alan Dershowitz has come forward with claims that sensitive documents are being kept from the public in an effort to protect powerful individuals.
In a recent interview with Sean Spicer, Dershowitz, a legal expert, said he has personally reviewed Epstein-related files and alleged that certain names are being shielded.
“Documents are being suppressed to protect individuals,” he said. “I know the names of the individuals.”
“I know why they’re being suppressed. I know who’s suppressing them. But I’m bound by confidentiality.”
Dershowitz’s comments follow a statement from the FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ), which insisted that no Epstein “client list” exists.
A recently issued memo by both agencies claimed there is no record of Epstein maintaining such a list and reaffirmed that there is no credible evidence of blackmail or coercion involving elite figures.
Federal officials also reiterated that Epstein’s death in 2019 was ruled a suicide and that the case, while deeply troubling, has not uncovered any systemic efforts to hide wrongdoing by public figures.
Despite those assurances, public skepticism remains high.
Many Americans have long questioned whether critical information about Epstein’s connections has been deliberately concealed.
Dershowitz’s remarks have only intensified those concerns, according to Trending Politics.
At a White House press briefing earlier this week, press secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed growing questions about the supposed client list.
She defended the actions of the FBI and DOJ, calling the administration’s efforts the most aggressive pursuit of Epstein-related accountability to date, as Resist the Mainstream reported on Tuesday.
Leavitt also clarified remarks made by Attorney General Pam Bondi, who previously said that the client list was “sitting on her desk.”
According to Leavitt, that statement referred to the broader collection of case files, not a specific list of names.
She added that some documents remain unreleased due to their disturbing content, including child exploitation materials deemed unsuitable for public release.
Although the DOJ memo attempted to close the door on speculation surrounding a client list, many critics are unconvinced.
Advocacy groups, journalists and members of the public continue to demand greater transparency.
They argue that the official narrative conflicts with multiple witness accounts and reporting that suggest a more extensive network of high-profile individuals may have been involved in Epstein’s activities.
Dershowitz, who has himself been tangentially linked to the Epstein scandal but denies wrongdoing, has consistently pushed for the full disclosure of documents related to the investigation.
His latest claims, while made under confidentiality constraints, have added weight to public suspicion that the federal government is withholding key details.
The Trump administration has emphasized that ongoing reviews of the Epstein case are underway and that all non-sensitive files will be made available when appropriate.
FBI Director Kash Patel and Bondi have both expressed their commitment to completing a full review of the materials.
As debate continues over what information should be made public, legal observers caution that a lack of transparency could further erode public trust.
