Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins directly addressed rumors of “mass amnesty” for migrant farm workers on Tuesday.
Since the beginning of President Donald Trump’s push to address illegal immigration in the United States, many have voiced concerns that the country’s food supply could be disrupted. The agricultural workforce relies on migrant workers, as they are often willing to be paid significantly less than what the average American would expect for performing the same labor.
On Tuesday, Rollins cut down rumors of mass amnesty for undocumented farm workers:

“There will be no amnesty. The mass deportations continue, but in a strategic way and we move the workforce towards automation and 100% American participation,” she said at a press conference.
X users reacted to her definitive statement:
And may the mass deportations continue, until every last one of the illegals are gone. If they want to come to the USA, use the proper legal channels.

Mass amnesty I’m afraid would be a deal breaker for me… thank God there will be no amnesty… keep the deportations going until they are all gone and no longer living off our tax dollars!#AmericaFirst

Finally, some common sense. Law and order matters; we can’t keep rewarding people for breaking the law. The system’s working as it should.

THAT is what I voted for.

Good! Because I definitely did not vote for amnesty for illegal immigrants of any kind. If they would like to self deport and apply for a worker visa, then maybe.
