While most of those attached to former President Joe Biden’s inner circle worked overtime to cover up what was really going on behind the scenes at the White House, some former sources have decided to start truth-telling.
According to Fox News, a former top advisor to President Biden recently admitted that Hunter Biden’s inclusion on an important legal phone call involving the president was “inappropriate.”Â
The call was regarding the landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling that decided former presidents have some level of immunity from prosecution.
The tidbit regarding Hunter Biden’s presence on the call and in other places he probably shouldn’t have been came from a new book published this week titled, “2024: How Trump Retook the White House and the Democrats Lost America.”
What happened?
In the book, which probably has several other bombshells, it was noted that Biden’s White House chief of staff, Jeff Zients, along with several other key players in the Biden administration, gathered on a call to determine whether or not then-President Biden should respond to the Supreme Court’s immunity ruling.
It was explained that Biden’s staffers were preparing the president to make an on-camera statement regarding the decision, until Hunter Biden came out of nowhere.
Fox News noted:
While Donilon already had drafted a written statement, Biden wanted to speak about the matter on-camera, the book claims. Staffers on the call started to hash out specifics of such an appearance, when Biden’s son started to chime into the call.
“Suddenly an unidentified voice piped up from Biden’s screen and recommended an Oval Office address,” the book said.
It added, “At first, some aides had no idea who was speaking. It soon became clear the voice belonged to Hunter Biden, who the White House staff had not known was on the call. Siskel expressed some concern about the appearance of using the Oval Office.”
“Hunter snapped back: ‘This is one of the most consequential decisions the Supreme Court has ever made.’ He said his father had every right to use the powerful imagery of the Oval Office to deliver that message,” the book said. “They later settled on the Cross Hall, the long hallway on the first floor of the White House. After the call ended, Siskel told colleagues. Hunter’s presence was inappropriate.”
Hunter’s influence
According to the book, the president at the time decided not to take any questions from supporters, at the suggestion of his son, Hunter Biden.
The book, which is one of several detailing the downfall of President Biden in his final years in office was “authored by Josh Dawsey of the Wall Street Journal, Tyler Pager of the New York Times and Isaac Arnsdorf of the Washington Post,” Fox News noted.
Hunter Biden was eventually pardoned by his father along with several other members of the Biden family.
The Bidens will go down as some of the most crooked and shady people to ever live and serve in Washington D.C.
