After Donald Trump signed his Big, Beautiful Bill into law, most Democrats went their usual route. They claimed that people were literally going to die literally. Speaking as someone who was killed by Net Neutrality, multiple Supreme Court decisions, and anytime people wanted a day to read any of The People Who Controlled Joe Biden’s bills, it’s a silly talking point. Yet it’s not as bad as this piece of content put out by Colorado Governor Jared Polis.
I say this as someone who, prior to going full-time here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website, was a digital consultant for various candidates and elected officials. You need to be able to tell them, “No, this is a terrible idea,” because videos like this are why I wouldn’t let clients have access to their passwords.
Polis is the governor of a state that you would think would be more outraged over the added funding to ICE, what with Colorado rivaling California in its love of unauthorized illegals. Remember, they didn’t have an illegal immigrant gang problem before they did have one, if you were to believe the New York Times.
I won’t even get into the topic of the video, which itself is complete horse hockey. I know that you know that no one voted to kick people off of healthcare. And that to Normie-America, expecting able-bodied adults without kids to work (or volunteer) 20 hours a week and fill out a form twice a year to collect taxpayer-funded benefits isn’t an undue burden. The billionaires who control the left through NGOs and the media called the play, so that’s the play that’s being run.
My question is this: Who in the blue hell do they think the audience is for this video? The typical audience for this type of content is Gen Z. If there is one thing I know about Zoomers, it’s that, to them, there is nothing worse than being cringey (even though a lot of them on the left are).
It’s not GenX, the last generation to not suck, because Polis chose one of the five worst songs of the 90s. To be clear, while we were the last generation to not suck, that doesn’t mean individuals from our generation didn’t suck. See: Polis, Gov. Jared.
And it’s not the Democrat base, who would prefer seeing Polis get shot in the name of resisting Donald Trump. No, seriously. That’s their thing right now.
Maybe WE’RE the audience, because Polis knows how predictable we who hustle content on the right are, and was counting on us to help promote his video for him. Mission accomplished, I suppose.
