A Vermont man was killed on a Florida highway while trying to help a turtle.
Investigators identified him as Frank J. Quinn, 87, of Pawlet.
The Miami Herald reports Quinn was hit Sunday on I-95 near Sebastian in Indian River County.
Officials say he was trying to help a turtle cross the roadway.
