President Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful bill,” otherwise known as the “BBB,” has stressed Democrats out to the maximum — so much so that some undecided Republicans have changed their minds simply based on the Democrats’ reaction.
According to Breitbart, Vice President J.D. Vance said this week that one undecided House Republican literally changed their mind on the bill after watching House Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) “ramble” on the House floor about it for hours.
The bill has certainly triggered Trump Derangement Syndrome within the ranks of the Democratic Party.
Trump’s bill recently passed a major hurdle by getting through the Senate on a razor-thin margin, and it headed back to the House in the final step before it makes it to the president’s desk.
What’s going on?
Using a parliamentary procedure known as the “magic minute,” Jeffries rambled on for hours on the House floor against Trump’s bill. The maneuver was obviously abused in that circumstance.
The maneuver can be used to delay bills, but in this particular case, according to VP Vance, it has only served to motivated undecided Republicans to vote for it.
Republican Rep. Andy Ogles of Tennessee held nothing back when describing Jeffries and his rambling, referring to the House Dem leader as “Dollar Store Obama.”
“Dollar Store Obama has been hysterically rambling for over three and a half hours, whining about tax cuts for working Americans, bonuses for our brave law enforcement, and mass deportations of illegals. He’s still droning on like a broken record. Meanwhile, President Trump has already secured the votes,” Ogles said.
He added, “The American people stand firmly behind him. Hakeem needs to get off the House floor, take a drug test, and start putting America FIRST — not last.”

Republican flips
VP Vance announced that a Republican messaged him and said he changed his mind simply based on Jeffries’ rambling.
“GOP Congressman just texted me: ‘I was undecided on the bill but then I watched Hakeem Jeffries performance and now I’m a firm yes,'” Vance said.
The bill is ultimately expected to pass the House and then be sent to Trump’s desk for a signature.
It’ll be interesting to see how many Republican holdouts eventually come around.
