Security officials moved rapidly to eliminate cocaine evidence discovered inside the West Wing during the Biden administration, according to an internal report that remained buried until recently.
This shocking news comes as a former Democratic National Committee (DNC) insider confirmed earlier accusations about Biden White House leadership, identifying powerful figures who operated behind the scenes.
The previously unreported details about the White House cocaine scandal reveal how U.S. Secret Service agents handling the investigation made the critical evidence disappear permanently.
The drugs were incinerated within 24 hours of discovery, raising questions about the thoroughness of the investigation that never identified the source.
Republicans now control Washington’s power structures, yet obtaining an audit of the cocaine handling has proven challenging.
New information has emerged only through persistent investigative work by Susan Crabtree of RealClearInvestigations.
Crabtree’s reporting last month documented the Secret Service’s swift destruction of the cocaine bag found in a West Wing locker.
A U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency report titled “Destruction” confirmed the drugs were incinerated within one day of discovery.
The document obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request omits the destruction date.
Chain of custody records show the Secret Service transferred the cocaine to D.C. Fire Department hazmat technicians and FBI agents for authentication testing before reclaiming possession.
Two days following the testing, the drugs were handed to D.C. metropolitan police for destruction.
The Secret Service concluded its investigation nine days after the cocaine’s discovery.
Crabtree’s report notes that D.C. police operate an Environmental Protection Agency-approved incinerator required for narcotics destruction.
The destruction report contained no entry date for the cocaine’s elimination.
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced last week he was reopening the investigation, citing inadequate conclusions from Secret Service investigators during the Biden administration.
“Well, I get a kick out of it on social media,” Bongino told Fox News’ Sean Hannity, according to Trending Politics reporting.
“People say, ‘This case isn’t a big deal. I don’t care.’ Well, I care. … You don’t care that a [potentially] hazardous substance made its way into the White House? We didn’t know what it was, and we don’t seem to have answers? Well, we’re going to get them. I’ve got a great team on it.”
The FBI retained a second piece of evidence according to the report: an envelope containing three DNA tubes extracted from the cocaine.
The amount of DNA obtained remains unclear, and the Secret Service previously stated its analysis of potential handlers was inconclusive.
Two sources informed Crabtree that video evidence from the discovery day shows West Wing staffers entering a vestibule where the cocaine-containing locker sat, located dozens of feet from the Situation Room.
The Secret Service never interviewed these individuals, citing insufficient DNA evidence on the drugs.
This bombshell report comes as Lindy Li, previously a top Democratic donor before her public party split last year, said progressive circles knew who controlled the administration while former President Joe Biden, at 82 years old, struggled through his duties.
Several “puppet masters” worked to maintain a White House spinning desperately off-course, she explained.
“[Biden is] definitely complicit, but there were a lot of people behind him, like puppet masters. [Former first lady Jill Biden] very much knew what she was doing. What she did was absolutely elder abuse. There is no question in my mind,” Li told Fox News.
U.S. House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) issued a subpoena last week to Anthony Bernal, the former first lady’s chief of staff, who has been identified by ousted DNC co-chair David Hogg for wielding significant control during the Biden-Harris administration.
Comer demanded Bernal appear for an in-person deposition by July 16.
“They deny the cover-up, but I had a front-row seat watching it happen. People like Anthony Bernal. I saw him running the White House like he was in charge, like he was a king. It’s just so amazing now to see him dodge a subpoena and completely dodge accountability. He can run, but he can’t hide. His name is going to go down in infamy forever,” stated Li.
Bernal, who served as Biden’s deputy campaign manager in 2020, confirmed on June 26 that he would appear for a voluntary transcribed interview before Comer’s committee. However, he withdrew once the White House waived his executive privilege, making him criminally liable for lying under oath.
Li said Bernal “followed Jill around like a dog” and that their influence over the West Wing expanded as she became increasingly involved in her husband’s reelection efforts.
Li, who served on the Democratic Finance Committee and helped organize swing state fundraisers for President Biden during the 2024 election, also identified deputy chief of staff Bruce Reed, counselor Steve Ricchetti and senior advisors Anita Dunn and Mike Donilon as the “puppet masters” she accused of operating the White House around Biden.
None of the former White House aides responded to Fox News requests for comment.
Neera Tanden, a former domestic policy advisor to Biden, testified before the Oversight Committee for hours last week about her experience working with the octogenarian incumbent as he struggled to remember names and faces of his closest aides or even the years he left the vice presidency and lost his first son to brain cancer.
Her testimony reportedly focused on Biden’s use of the autopen to sign dozens or hundreds of executive orders, pardons, and other paperwork during his presidency’s final days and hours.
Tanden told reporters that she “answered every question, was pleased to discuss my public service, and it was a thorough process,” adding that she was “glad I answered everyone’s question.”
Li said Tanden played an “intricate” role in leveraging the autopen when Biden was unable to sign his name.
“Biden was manifestly unqualified and unable to prosecute the duties of the office,” she claimed.
Li concluded that Jill Biden ran the White House in a desperate power play that prominent voices have compared to elder abuse.
“Joe was not able to do a lot of campaign events, so Jill would come out on his behalf, acting like the president or the presidential candidate. That’s why she graced the Vogue cover three times. She loved it. If I were to pinpoint two reasons why Joe decided to run again, it would be two people: Jill and Hunter Biden. Because Hunter Biden’s freedom was on the line and Jill’s ego was on the line,” Li said.
A former Biden staffer, responding to the interview, quipped to Fox, “Who is Lindy Li?”
