Dr. Phil McGraw doesn’t mess around when it comes to politics, and it’s not a surprise regarding what side he leans toward. That was especially true this week when he took aim at a radical Minnesota lawmaker.
According to the Daily Caller, Dr. Phil condemned Democrat Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar — a member of the progressive “Squad,” for espousing anti-American rhetoric.
In an earlier interview in June, Omar made several disgusting anti-American remarks on “Democracy Now!” that sparked a mountain of backlash from Republicans and Americans in general.
Dr. Phil slammed Omar for her anti-American remarks, highlighting how she has thrived since fleeing her home country of Somalia and was actually given a better chance here than she ever would have experienced in Africa, especially as a female.
What did he say?
Dr. Phil held nothing back as he excoriated Omar over her asinine, anti-American remarks during the interview, especially as she called America “one of the worst countries.”
“You can’t make this up. Who are we talking about here? Omar fled Somalia — a failed state, a country ravaged by civil war, corruption and poverty — and she spent years in a Kenyan refugee camp,” Dr. Phil said.
He added, “I hate that for her. I really do. She resettled in the U.S. as a refugee — so happy for her. She was given housing, afforded education, opportunity, freedom. She became a citizen in 2000 at 17. Again, so happy for her. Thank God she escaped that terrible life.”
That’s when Dr. Phil decided to drop bombs.
“And she was elected to Congress, one of the first Muslim women in the House. The American Dream,” he continued. “She has every reason to be thankful. Is she? Not even almost! Instead, she spends her time bashing the very country that saved her and her family.”
He continued, saying, “She has the right to say what she’s saying. Culturally, psychologically, I think it’s disgusting. But does she have the right to say it? Yeah, she does — just like I have the right to say it’s absolutely disgusting!” he said.
“And whoever voted for her now knows who they voted for and should kick her a** to the curb!”

Another X user wrote, “Yes she’s a disgrace n should be deported for lying on her brother’s citizenship application.”
