Didn’t Take Andrew Lawton Long To Learn The Ottawa Double Speak and Party Narrative 

Just read an article ( Epoch Times) of Andrew being interviewed concerning his new role as MP  rather than a journalist with True North.

Interesting and predictable.

At the outset it should be pointed out there  is a bit of a conflict of interest going on in that the person interviewing him worked with True North as well. So can one expect a real legitimate interview?

And then his description of the last election ? 

It is almost as if his Conservative Party had won!

Yet, not only did his Party lose but his leader lost his own seat. The ultimate disgrace in Canadian Political Party Leadership culture.

Lawton talks about making the country a more free country. Yet, he is  part of a party that was no where to be found when freedom was on the line in Ottawa at the Truckers  Protest! Like all politicians these days his Party showed up when there was the opportunity to score political points—-not standing on principle. 

I was amused in the interview by how little a former journalist who followed politics really knew about the workings of Parliament.  

And what does he propose specifically.? 

Zero. 

No proposals by Mr. Lawton to introduce his own private members bills to give meaning to what he says he wants to do. Oh, No——

Captured already by the Ottawa and Party double speak. 

The system is broken and until it is structurally reformed more and more so called do gooders will go the way of MP Lawton.
