Paramount Global, which owns cBS is finally being forced to pay up after that heavily edited Kamala Harris 60 minutes propaganda intervidew to try and make her look coherent. It still didn’t work, but it’s going to be a big pay out for Donald Trump. The proposed settlement includes $17 million for Trump’s presidential foundation or museum and $3 million for legal fees and public service announcements to combat antisemitism. Trump had previously rejected a $15 million offer, demanding at least $25 million and an apology, which CBS has refused to provide. The lawsuit has caused internal upheaval at CBS, with key figures like 60 Minutes producer Bill Owens and news division chief Wendy McMahon stepping down. The dispute also complicates Paramount’s $8.4 billion merger with Skydance Media, as it may impact regulatory approval.
