President Trump just handed the corporate media another massive L—and this time, it’s CBS and Paramount Global coughing up the cash.
In a lawsuit that started with a deceptively edited Kamala Harris interview and ended in absolute humiliation for the network, Trump has secured a stunning settlement that not only exposes CBS but sets the stage for major changes in how they do business.
Back in October, Trump sued CBS and Paramount for what he called blatant election interference. The accusation? They clipped and cleaned up Kamala’s now-infamous word salad on Israel, making her appear competent when the raw footage said otherwise. CBS offered to settle for $15 million in May. Trump said no—and it paid off.

According to Fox News and other sources, CBS is now paying a $16 million upfront settlement, with a second eight-figure payout pending, pushing the total value well north of $30 million. Let that sink in: Over $30 million because the network got caught playing PR firm for Kamala.
But the money’s only part of the story.
That first $16 million will reportedly go toward legal fees and funding Trump’s future presidential library, with the rest earmarked for conservative causes. Even better? The second payment will fund ads, PSAs, and content promoting conservative values— on CBS’s own airwaves.
Oh, and it gets worse for them.
As part of the settlement, CBS is adopting what sources are calling “The Trump Rule”: a new policy that forces the network to release complete, unedited transcripts of all interviews with presidential candidates. No more chopping up answers to protect preferred candidates. No more Kamala clean-up jobs.
In other words, President Trump just forced CBS to fund a library in his name, run conservative content, and overhaul their editorial standards—all because they tried to make Kamala Harris sound like she could string together a coherent sentence.
Trump’s legal team celebrated the victory:
“With this record settlement, President Donald J. Trump delivers another win for the American people as he, once again, holds the Fake News media accountable for their wrongdoing and deceit.”
Meanwhile, Paramount tried to save face with this weak statement:
“The settlement does not include a statement of apology or regret.”
And none of the money goes directly to Trump. Sure. Because that changes everything.
Trump 1. Fake News 0.
