Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill Act clears the Senate.
Senate Republicans rallied to send President Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” back to the House Tuesday night, marking a major win in their breakneck push to cement the $3.3 trillion package into law.
All but three GOP senators — Thom Tillis of North Carolina, Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Susan Collins of Maine — fell in line behind the bill. Not a single Democrat crossed the aisle.
Vice President JD Vance made the tie-breaking vote.

Republican leaders want the bill on Trump’s desk by Friday.
“We’re talking to the House,” Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., said. “We know they’re going to have some issues over there, just like we had some issues when it came over here, too. But we think we’re going to pass a bill that they can pass.”
President Trump was touring the newly opened “Alligator Alcatraz” in Florida when he got news that the Senate had passed the bill.

Next, the bill heads back to the House. Speaker Mike Johnson released a joint statement.
The House will work quickly to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill that enacts President Trump’s full America First agenda by the Fourth of July. The American people gave us a clear mandate, and after four years of Democrat failure, we intend to deliver without delay.
Republicans were elected to do exactly what this bill achieves: secure the border, make tax cuts permanent, unleash American energy dominance, restore peace through strength, cut wasteful spending, and return to a government that puts Americans first.
This bill is President Trump’s agenda, and we are making it law. House Republicans are ready to finish the job and put the One Big Beautiful Bill on President Trump’s desk in time for Independence Day.
