Elon Musk indicated Tuesday that he will donate to Rep. Thomas Massie’s (R-Ky.) reelection campaign amid a broader feud waged by Musk over President Trump’s megabill.
Musk responded to social media personality Bryce Lipscomb, a former Michigan state House candidate, who asked on the social platform X who else would be donating to Massie’s campaign.
“Me,” Musk wrote, resharing the post.
Musk also told Massie “you’re awesome” in response to a post the lawmaker made Tuesday, which linked to a Fox News article that said Musk would be donating to Massie’s campaign.
“You’re too kind, but thank you!” Massie said, responding to Musk’s reply. “A large part of my job is to keep government from screwing things up for the engineers and entrepreneurs who do make this world a better place. I don’t think enough people appreciate the contributions you and your teams have made to civilization.”
