As if the long-awaited return of McDonald’s Snack Wrap wasn’t enough, the fast food giant just dropped another surprise — a brand-new burger hitting menus nationwide.
Fresh off the hype, McDonald’s is adding the Daily Double Burger, a fresh take on its classic burger lineup, and fans are already buzzing.
At first glance, the Daily Double might sound like a traditional double-patty burger — cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and a generous spread of creamy mayo.
But this new addition has a twist: it skips McDonald’s usual ketchup-and-mustard combo in favor of mayo, giving it a more savory, sandwich-shop vibe.
It’s also one of the rare burgers on the menu that includes lettuce and mayonnaise — a combo typically reserved for premium picks like the Quarter Pounder Deluxe or the Big Mac.
The Daily Double got its start earlier this year in a quiet test run across Miami, Chicago, and Seattle. After strong feedback, it officially rolled out nationwide on June 26.
Fans can now grab the burger at McDonald’s locations across the country, with availability lasting through the end of 2025.
But it gets better — the Daily Double will also headline the upcoming McValue Meal Deal. For just $6 to $7 (depending on location), you’ll get the burger, fries, Chicken McNuggets, and a drink.
With both the Snack Wrap and Daily Double back in the spotlight, McDonald’s is serving up serious summer menu heat.
