New York City’s favored son, a Muslim communist by the name of Zohran Mamdani, who is the city’s Democratic mayoral candidate, refused to condemn a term for killing Jews – “Globalize the Intifada” – three times during an interview on Meet the Press Sunday.

Welker presses for an answer from Mamdani
Host Kristen Welker should be given credit for asking the question numerous times during the sit-down, but Mamdani expertly deflected as politicians always do when they don’t want to honestly answer something. She noted to Mamdani that the phrase called for violence against the Jewish people, but he just couldn’t bring himself to condemn it. Small wonder, considering that Mamdani is a supporter of Hamas and radical Islam, not to mention communism.
“I want to ask you about an issue that has divided New Yorkers in recent weeks. You were recently asked about the term ‘globalize the intifada,’ if it makes you uncomfortable. In that moment, you did not condemn the phrase. Now, just so folks understand, it’s a phrase that many people hear as a call to violence against Jews. There’s been a lot of attention on this issue, so I want to give you an opportunity to respond here and now,” Welker said to the Democratic Socialist. “Do you condemn that phrase ‘globalize the intifada?’”
Mamdani proceeded to do the political two-step and give a long non-answer. He asserted it is not the “language” he would personally choose; however, he has made it very apparent that he does not oppose the term. He says that he believes “freedom and justice and safety are things that, to have meaning, have to be applied to all people, and that includes Israelis and Palestinians as well.”
“But do you actually condemn it?” Welker asked him point-blank. “I think that’s the question and the outstanding issue that a number of people, both of the Jewish faith and beyond, have. Do you condemn that phrase, ‘globalize the intifada,’ which a lot of people hear as a call to violence against Jews?”

Mamdani did what any Democrat would do at that point and pivoted to attacking President Trump. He then said that he didn’t think it was a mayor’s job to “police” the speech of New Yorkers.
“But very quickly, for the people who care about the language and who feel really concerned by that phrase, why not just condemn it?” Welker attempted for a third time.
“My concern is, to start to walk down the line of language and making clear what language I believe is permissible or impermissible, takes me into a place similar to that of the president, who is looking to do those very kinds of things, putting people in jail for writing an op-ed, putting them in jail for protesting. Ultimately, it is not language that I use. It is language I understand there are concerns about, and what I will do is showcase my vision for the city through my words and my actions,” he said, ducking the question again.

This is not the first time Mamdani has been asked about “Globalize the Intifada.”
Mamdani was previously asked by The Bulwark on June 17 about the phrase.
He responded to the question with a big fat lie, saying that it reflects “a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights.”

Mamdani’s refusal to condemn “Globalize the Intifada” incensed Jewish organizations, politicians, and many, many people.
From NBC News:
Jewish organizations and officials quickly spoke out against the phrase, with Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the Anti-Defamation League, writing in a post on X, “Globalize the Intifada is an explicit call for violence. Globalize the Intifada celebrates and glorifies savagery and terror. Globalize the Intifada dishonors the memory of 1,000s slaughtered, tens of 1,000s maimed, and millions traumatized who were targeted simply because of their identities. Globalize the Intifada is not just dangerous. It’s an explicit incitement to violence.”
In a statement at the time, Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., who represents parts of New York City, blasted Mamdani, saying, “If Mr. Mamdani is unwilling to heed the request of major Jewish organizations to condemn this unquestionably antisemitic phrase, then he is unfit to lead a city with 1.3 million Jews — the largest Jewish population outside of Israel.”
Trump blasts Mamdani and his communist facilitators
President Trump is no fan of Mamdani and has bluntly informed him that if he starts playing games on immigration or anything else, the federal government will pull money from New York City.

“I can’t believe that’s happening. That’s a terrible thing for our country, by the way. He’s a communist,” Trump told reporters on Friday. “We’re going to go to a communistic – so that’s so bad for New York, but the rest of the country is revolting against it.”
On Truth Social last week, Trump slammed Mamdani and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who backed Mamdani in the primary.
“It’s finally happened, the Democrats have crossed the line. Zohran Mamdani, a 100% Communist Lunatic, has just won the Dem Primary, and is on his way to becoming Mayor. We’ve had Radical Lefties before, but this is getting a little ridiculous,” the president contended.
He also pointed out that Mamdani is “not very smart” and that “he’s got AOC+3, Dummies ALL, backing him.”
Mamdani swears he’s not a communist, but if it walks, talks, and waddles like one… he’s a communist. Democratic Socialists chose their name well, but it’s just another cover for Marxism. It appears that he believes in using taqiyya – the practice of lying to infidels, which is permitted in Islam. Remember, socialism is just a way-station on the way to full-blown communism.

How did he get elected?
Since New York City has a large Jewish population, one would correctly wonder exactly how this guy got elected in the first place, supporting such hatred not only for Jews but for white people in general, whom he is proposing to tax higher than other races.

He says billionaires should not exist, which is rich since his mother is a multi-millionaire film director, and his father is a millionaire Columbia professor. The school he went to costs $60,000 a year.

One of Mamdani’s top 25 supporters was CNN, according to Paul Sperry over at Real Clear Investigations. They are evidently fine with antisemitism.

Daniel Greenfield wrote an excellent piece on the voting in New York City, titled “Only 5% of New Yorkers Voted for Mamdani.”
From Sultan Knish:
Less than 30% of Democrats voted in the mayoral primary. Of those, supposedly, 43.5% voted for Mamdani. So some 12.9% of New York Democrats voted for Mamdani.
56% of registered voters in the city are Democrats, so some 7.2% of city residents voted for him.
New York City has a population of 8.2 million. Of those 432,305, or 5% voted for Mamdani.
New Yorkers have given up on getting someone who will be a good mayor. Apathetically, they ceded the field to radicals and extremists.
Mamdani, a dyed-in-the-keffiyeh Hamas supporter and Shia Twelver, was more than glad to fill the void. He’s not a fighter for the people. Just like AOC and Bernie Sanders, he is looking for power and control with a communist agenda.
