The Supreme Court’s rulings against activist judges and other issues were a win for the Trump administration, but triggered a colossal meltdown from leftist David Hogg.
The recently ousted co-vice chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) raged on social media after the 6-3 SCOTUS ruling that delivered wins for conservatives, including parental rights in public education, reining in judicial overreach, and protecting minors from some website content.
Fuck the Supreme Court.
Fuck the Federalist Society.
Fuck Mitch McConnell.— David Hogg (@davidhogg111) June 27, 2025
The 25-year-old activist’s post drew immediate reactions on social media, including from CNN’s Scott Jennings.

The high court cleared the way for Trump’s policies after clipping the practice of nationwide injunctions by judges. It also ruled in Mahmoud v. Taylor in favor of parents opting children out of a school lessons about homosexuality and transgenderism.
The government “burdens the religious exercise of parents when it requires them to submit their children to instruction that poses ‘a very real threat of undermining’ the religious beliefs and practices that the parents wish to instill,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote in the majority opinion.
The Supreme Court also ruled on age verification requirements for users of explicit websites in a case out of Texas.
“This is a major victory for children, parents, and the ability of states to protect minors from the damaging effects of online pornography,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said in a statement. “Companies have no right to expose children to pornography and must institute reasonable age verification measures.”
The controversial and history-making rulings naturally triggered the left, and Hogg’s social media outburst seemed a clear indication to many that he was having a problem with the U.S. Constitution itself.
So what you really mean is “fuck the Constitution if the president is someone I don’t like.” https://t.co/ZN3q7pwptI

Hogg’s post set off a wave of deserved criticism on X.
Hogg got kicked out of his own party, and now he’s reduced to screeching into the void on a platform where no one takes him seriously.
The country is beginning to heal.

It sucks when you are trying to stay relevant, but you never were in the 1st place.

It is a reminder of the great work Mitch McConnell did around justice nominations. Can’t be denied and should not be forgotten.

Sounds like you’re having a bad day there, David, but don’t worry, you will almost definitely keep on losing.
This is what happens when you stand on the wrong side of history.
