Branded as “Stop the War on Iran,” these anti-Trump demonstrations accuse President Trump of being a “war criminal” for ordering strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
PSL has previously been linked to Elias Rodriguez, a pro-Hamas leftist who murdered two Israeli Embassy staffers in Washington, D.C., in May.

Hinkle has recently traveled through the Middle East and met with hostile anti-American groups, including members of Hamas, Hezbollah, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and the Houthis.

These back-to-back anti-Trump, pro-Iran demonstrations were spearheaded by PYM, an organization financially supported by the Westchester People’s Action Coalition (WESPAC).
NGO Monitor identifies WESPAC as a key funding conduit for PYM. WESPAC receives support from the Tides Foundation, which is a prominent left-wing grantmaking group heavily financed by the Open Society Foundations, led by George Soros and Alex Soros. Financial disclosures reviewed by the National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) show that Soros’ foundations directed $13.7 million to the Tides Foundation between 2016 and 2022, with $132,000 earmarked for WESPAC during that period.

The event was advertised by The People’s Forum and Code Pink, two groups tied to CCP propagandist Neville Roy Singham, who is married to Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans.
According to promotional materials and screenshots from the ANSWER Coalition’s official website, the group had coordinated bus transportation for protesters traveling from New York City to the nation’s capital. This means the organization was planning to bus-in activists to mass mobilize and astroturf D.C. Moreover, the groups planned to project a unified front focused on opposing President Trump in support of Iran.
However, just days before the demonstration, organizers abruptly postponed the event following news of a ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran.
Pro-Iran Protesters Retreat After Trump Secures Ceasefire
On June 25, organizers from the ANSWER Coalition announced on social media the postponement of the June 28 protest at the White House. The event, branded as a national “Stop the War on Iran” march, had been promoted by groups including the PYM, PSL, and The People’s Forum.
According to ANSWER Coalition’s statement, the protest was called off following a ceasefire between the United States and Iran. Organizers claimed the bombing campaign launched by Trump and Netanyahu caused “huge damage and many deaths” but failed to meet its military objectives. They used the postponement to reinforce their message that the “struggle is far from over” and pledged to remain active in pressuring elected officials and opposing U.S. support for Israel.
