Joe Biden’s open borders agenda allowed some of the world’s most dangerous criminals to waltz right into American communities.
Federal agents are now working overtime to clean up the mess.
And federal agents just cracked down on one dangerous Venezuelan gang member caught hiding in Florida.
ICE agents track down Tren de Aragua operative in Florida jail
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents arrested Venezuelan illegal alien Mario Pereda in a Florida jail where he was serving time on local traffic charges.
The anti-Tren de Aragua gang member now faces serious federal charges out of the Southern District of New York for racketeering conspiracy.
HSI officials announced the arrest of Pereda, describing him as “a criminal illegal alien from Venezuelan [sic] & confirmed member of anti-Tren de Aragua,” according to the Breitbart Texas report.
The Pinellas County, Florida, Sheriff’s Office turned the Venezuelan national over to federal authorities after he was arrested on traffic charges.
Officials say the arrest stems from an ongoing investigation by the HSI New York Violent Gang Task Force.
Pereda is a confirmed member of the anti-Tren de Aragua faction, which is a spin-off of the notorious Tren de Aragua gang that has terrorized communities across South America.
According to federal court records from the Southern District of New York, Mario Andres Pereda, also known as “Cara de Hombre,” 44, was charged in a superseding indictment with 18 other alleged members of the “Anti-Tren” faction.
These violent criminals have exploited Joe Biden’s open borders to infiltrate American cities and bring their reign of terror to U.S. soil.
President Donald Trump declared Tren de Aragua a Foreign Terrorist Organization, giving law enforcement the tools they need to go after these dangerous gang members.
Gang member faces ten federal charges for horrific crimes
A federal indictment reveals the shocking scope of Pereda’s alleged criminal enterprise.
The ten-count indictment accuses Pereda and his co-conspirators of multiple acts including murder, robbery, forced labor, trafficking in forced labor, sex trafficking, trafficking of firearms, murder-for-hire, and numerous drug-related offenses.
The charges paint a picture of a brutal criminal organization that preys on the most vulnerable members of society.
The indictment also alleges Pereda and his co-conspirators harbored illegal aliens for prostitution and other immoral purposes.
Federal prosecutors allege they “did, directly and indirectly, import, and attempt to import into the United States one and more aliens for the purpose of prostitution and for any other immoral purpose,” as stated in the federal indictment.
The conspirators are accused of using threats of force, fraud, and coercion to force victims to engage in commercial sex acts.
In addition to the allegations of firearms trafficking, the accused members also allegedly carried firearms in the commission of these heinous crimes.
This represents a violation of federal firearms laws that carry serious prison sentences.
Pereda will be extradited to New York to face prosecution in the Southern District of New York.
Trump administration launches unprecedented crackdown on foreign gangs
This arrest represents just the latest success in President Trump’s war against foreign criminal organizations that have infiltrated American communities.
Within days of taking office, President Trump designated deadly drug cartels and vicious transnational gangs as Foreign Terrorist Organizations.
This designation empowers law enforcement to make enormous progress in arresting and deporting these violent terrorists.
The Trump administration has already secured the arrest of key leaders of the brutal MS-13 gang and other dangerous criminal organizations.
Federal agents are now working around the clock to identify and arrest gang members who entered the country illegally during the Biden-Harris border crisis.
This isn’t the first time that Tren de Aragua has made headlines for their brutal criminal activities.
The gang has been linked to violent crimes across multiple states, including murders, kidnappings, and human trafficking operations.
Under Joe Biden’s watch, these dangerous criminals were able to cross the border with impunity and set up shop in American communities.
But President Trump’s tough-on-crime approach is sending a clear message to foreign gang members: your reign of terror in America is over.
Law enforcement officials are working systematically to identify, arrest, and deport every single member of these criminal organizations.
The American people deserve to live in safe communities free from the threat of foreign gang violence.
President Trump’s decisive action to designate these groups as terrorist organizations gives federal agents the tools they need to protect American families.
The arrest of Mario Pereda shows that no matter where these criminals try to hide, federal agents will track them down and bring them to justice.
