Many men wish tax hikes on successful people. Rapper slash entrepreneur 50 Cent is not happy about it, especially since incoming NYC Mayor The Zohran is targeting him specifically. Not only is the rapper willing to pay for The Zohran to move anywhere else and raise taxes there, but he’s about ready to snitch to Donald Trump as well.
It started earlier this month, when The Zohran appeared on “The Breakfast Club” to share some of his batsh*t crazy ideas that’ve failed in every city they’ve been attempted in. Besides wanting to raise taxes on anyone making a million dollars or more (we’ll circle back to that) and targeting 50 Cent specifically, he wants to hike corporate taxes on companies that are OUTSIDE NYC.
I know that you know that doing so only encourages people not to do business INSIDE NYC.
The rapper was not amused. 50 Cent wrote on Instagram Wednesday, “Where did he come from? Whose friend is this? I’m not feeling this plan. No. I will give him $258,750 and a first-class one-way ticket away from NY.”
The post has since been deleted. Maybe Fifty didn’t want to deal with everyone. Or maybe he was joking, and in our rush, we missed the joke since, as the saying goes, these clicks don’t bait themselves. I care less about what Fifty said as much as I do The Zohran. He was to hike taxes on anyone making more than a million. I thought it was only billionaires who don’t pay their fair share?
It used to be, during the Obama years, that anyone making more than $250,000 a year wasn’t paying their fair share. When that didn’t poll well, they switched it to “millionaires and billionaires” don’t pay their fair share. Then, when socialists like Bernie Sanders and Liz Warren became multi-millionaires, it became only billionaires not paying their fair share. Bernie and social-media influencer Rep. AOC just flew in private jets all over America, whining about it.
Now, The Zohran is back to raising taxes on millionaires. Not even of the multi-variety. Anyone who squeaks into the seven-figure range. Because it’s never enough for socialists. And as long as low-information voters who live in the five boroughs keep believing the “opressor” is anyone who makes more money than they do, they’ll keep demanding more successful people get penalized for it.
To someone who doesn’t pay any taxes, people who make $250,000 aren’t paying THEIR fair share.
