Don’t pass out from shock—the hot air about “record heat” and “climate change” from the Democrat media and politicians is pure balderdash.
Notice some of the temps are below average. 🔼
Your SUV and gas stove aren’t killing the planet. Average global temperature is a myth, emissions aren’t driving warming, carbon is the necessary building block of life, and climate alarmists have been wrong on every single major prediction for well over half a century. The left just wants an excuse to increase tyrannical power at our expense while claiming climate catastrophe as their justification.
Watts Up With That posted June 26:
Historical data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) reveals that 36 out of 50 state record high temperatures were set over five decades ago. Shockingly, 23 of those records date back to the 1930s, when CO2 emissions were a fraction of today’s levels. Despite all the hype, only six state highs have been broken since 2000.
Take New York City, where temps hit 102°F this week—still far below the state record of 108°F from 1926. In Tennessee, Memphis reached 95°F, but the all-time high of 113°F was set in 1930. Virginia saw 99°F in Richmond, shy of the 110°F record from 1954. These examples show that extreme heat isn’t new or solely driven by human activity.
Global temperature metrics from NASA, NOAA, and the UK’s Met Office indicate a rise of about 1.2°C over 140 years. However, the longest-running data set, Central England’s temperatures since 1660, shows a similar rise long before significant CO2 emissions. This suggests natural factors dominate climate change, with human influence playing a minor role.
So drink a water bottle and head to the pool in your gas-powered car. All Democrats have done is discover that summer is hot.
