New York needs a wakeup call. Desperately.
The AP reports that democrats are fretting about Zohran Mamdani’s rise in the mayoral race.
Many progressives cheered the emergence of the young and charismatic Mamdani, whose candidacy caught on with viral campaign videos and a focus on the cost of living. But the party’s more pragmatic wing cast the outcome as a serious setback in their quest to broaden Democrats’ appeal and move past the more controversial policies that alienated would-be voters in recent elections.
And it’s not just Republicans
Lawrence Summers, the Treasury Secretary under former Democratic President Barack Obama, aired dire concerns on social media. “I am profoundly alarmed about the future of the (Democratic Party) and the country” because of the New York City results, Summers wrote.
While a Mamdani election could be a boon for the GOP, it would be devastating to the city of New York. London’s transformation under a Muslim mayor is the prototype.

There were 175 mosques in NYC in 2010. Today there are 581. 581 mosques in which to pray but instead the ceremonies are shoved down the throats of New Yorkers.

Notice that Mamdani does not speak about the benefits for the city or the country- but only power for Muslims. He openly states he is motivated by socialism and Palestine and said Muslims must transition from “gratefulness to demands.” He’s also big on the anti-Israeli BDS.
As for Mamdani’s plans:
He plans to arrest Bibi Netanyahu if he visits NYC.
He is promising free stuff in foreign languages.
He promises to stop the deportation of illegal aliens in NYC. (Tom Homan had something to say about this)
He promises re-education camps for wrongthink.

Mamdani is not who he publicly claims to be. He is a wild-eyed radical Islamic Communist at heart.
This is not simply disturbing, it’s positively frightening. Mamdani is a stealth Islamist. Once Islamists take over, it’s my way or the highway.
