The Israel/Iran war was over almost as fast as it started. After the US bombed Iran’s nuclear sites late Saturday, we didn’t have to wait long for Iran’s response.
In what was clearly a bit of theater, Iran fired 14 symbolic missiles at the US military base in Qatar that we had already mostly evacuated in the days before our own military strike. Of course, they warned Qatar and us in advance. Honestly, Iran and the US have history dating back to 1988 and Operation Praying Mantis, when we wiped out like half their navy in under 8 hours. Iran doesn’t want this smoke.
