Novel viruses and bats are back in the spotlight after a Chinese study discovered “particularly concerning” strains capable of deadly symptoms for humans.
Well over five years since the world all but shut down over a virus that required mass testing for a majority of people to even know they had it, and COVID became a household term, bat studies carried on in China. As the public longs for accountability — be it from Wuhan or those funding the research there — and scientists make the premise of “Jurassic Park” sequels increasingly more believable, a newly published study found henipaviruses with fatal potential.
Published in the peer-reviewed medical journal PLOS Pathogens, scientists studying bats in the Yunnan province for the Yunnan Institute of Endemic Disease Control and Prevention found viruses similar to Nipah and Hendra viruses in the animals’ kidney tissue.
Nipah virus (NiV) is known for causing respiratory problems and encephalitis, and outbreaks have resulted in a mortality rate between 35-75%. Likewise, humans and horses died as a result of outbreaks of Hendra virus (HeV).
“These viruses are particularly concerning because they were predominantly found in bat kidneys, a site linked to urine production, raising alarm about potential human exposure via contaminated fruits or water,” said Monash University molecular virologist Professor Vinod Balasubramaniam in a statement published by Newsweek.
According to the study that collected 142 bats representing 10 separate species between 2017 and 2021, the animals had been roosting near fruit orchards close to populated rural villages. Due to the transmissibility of the viruses through urine, it remained a possibility that locals could contract the pathogens by either eating the fruit or livestock that had done so.
“These findings broaden our understanding of the bat kidney infectome, underscore critical zoonotic threats and highlight the need for comprehensive, full-spectrum microbial analyses of previously understudied organs to better assess spillover risks from bat populations,” insisted the study.
In addition to the two henipaviruses, the research discovered a total of 22 viruses in the kidney tissue, 20 of which were novel viruses. Researchers also found a novel parasite and a novel bacterium.
While the study indicated that “All experiments were conducted with the approval of the Biosafety Committee” from the Yunnan Institute, the lack of accountability following both the outbreak of COVID-19 and the draconian response from the federal government as well as state and local officials was coupled with an ongoing lack of trust for public institutions.
This was especially true where pharmaceutical interventions were concerned, as many remained skeptical of the notion that mRNA shots resulted in “millions saved,” considering both the ever-evolving narrative on their efficacy and the downplayed risks of issues like myocarditis. On account of the coordinated push for widespread compliance, word of new viruses immediately called to mind the potential for more “vaccines and boosters.”
COVID-19 Vaccines Did NOT Save Millions of Lives
Final false narrative crushed by Dr. Ophir. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Hawaii Governor Dr. Josh Green implied that fatal vaccine side effects were somehow “worth it” because they blindly believed vaccines saved lives.… https://t.co/984dEp78VU pic.twitter.com/Q1jT0SiROf

Let me guess….. another new vaccine?

Omg let’s close the world and call Fauci our hero to save us again.

That’s it. Close the border for anyone arriving from China.
