New York City has evidently forgotten all about the horrors of 9/11. New York State Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani just won the Democratic nomination for the mayoral election after disgraced Andrew Cuomo conceded. He is a radical Muslim communist, and if elected (which is almost a certainty), he will finish off the Big Apple.
A Democratic Socialist, Shia Muslim Crushes Cuomo
Mamdani, 33, has been a Democratic Socialist since 2017. He is a Shia Muslim who identifies with the Twelvers – Iran’s death cult and “believes in fostering world chaos to hasten the return of the 12th Imam and Judgment Day.”

He was behind in almost every poll, but due to ranked choice voting and overwhelming support from Asians and white voters, Mamdani clinched the nomination. Given the choice between a murdering pervert former governor and a radical “Death to America,” “Death to Israel,” raving communist Islamist, the Democrats in NYC chose the Islamist.

From The Post Millennial:
The first round tally of ranked choice voting saw a 90% return of 975,104 votes counted. Mamdani received 424,442 of that total, or 43.5%, to Cuomo’s second plac 36.3%, or 354,160 votes. The remainder of the slate of candidates followed, with City Comptroller Brad Lander taking 11.4% and the rest falling below 5%.
The New York Post bluntly called Mamdani “A nepo baby who is a socialist antisemite.” That’s being too kind.
A Communist Platform
Mamdani ran on a platform that lauded “LGBTQIA+ protections,” “city-owned grocery stores,” and “Trump-proofing” New York City. The socialist also wants free buses and a $30 minimum wage. He is a supporter of fellow socialists and is for globalizing the intifada and the BDS movement as well. Mamdani also wants to defund the police in New York City. Mamdani was also funded by CAIR.

Mamdani Thanks Mandela – Communists of a Feather
Unsurprisingly, on X, he thanked not only his voters but South Africa Nelson Mandela who was also a communist. Mamdani was born in Uganda and came to the US as a child, and became a citizen in 2018, according to The Epoch Times. He took office as a New York state assemblyman in 2021, representing the 36th District that covers the Queens neighborhood of Astoria.
“In the words of Nelson Mandela: it always seems impossible until it’s done,” Mamdani wrote on X. “My friends, it is done. And you are the ones who did it. I am honored to be your Democratic nominee for the Mayor of New York City.”

As he gave his acceptance speech, Mamdani told his supporters, “Above all, our democracy has been attacked from within… and when we no longer believe in our democracy, it only becomes easier for people like Donald Trump to convince us of his worth.”

Right Out of the Democrat Playbook
And in the tradition of other Democrats, Mamdani claimed his life was threatened before he won the nomination. That assertion seems to be a leftist trend.
From Blazemedia:
Just days before the primary, Mamdani’s office told the New York Post he had received a car-bomb threat, despite not owning a car. Mamdani had allegedly received four voicemails in the last few months calling for his or his family’s death, with the latest reportedly calling him a “terrorist piece of s**t.”
Mamdani had blamed the right wing for a threatening message in which the caller said he was going to have the candidate “wash his European feet.”
Also, from Blazemedia, it’s obvious to everyone considering Mamdani’s win that New York City is cooked:
New York investigative reporter Oren Levy reacted to Mamdani’s victory, telling Blaze News, “Mamdani’s win tells you everything about where this city is heading — off a cliff.”
Levy continued, “He’s anti-Israel, a socialist, wants to replace cops with social workers … basically a checklist for the far-left agenda.”
Leftist Lovefest – Republicans Pounce
Mamdani is supported by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Both are Democratic Socialists, and AOC has set her sights on becoming the Democratic presidential nominee in 2028.

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) sent out an email claiming that “the new face of the Democrat Party just dropped, and it’s straight out of a socialist nightmare.” That pretty much sums it up.
Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York also noted that “a radical, Defund-the-Police, Communist, raging Antisemite will most likely win the New York City Democrat Mayoral primary.”
“Zohran Mamdani’s likely victory shows that a new direction for the Democratic Party is possible – a future of dynamic candidates who appeal to young voters and working-class voters with a platform that fights for people, not corporations,” Stephanie Taylor, co-founder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, asserted in a statement.
The Left is thrilled with Mamdani’s win:
Cynthia Nixon and Ella Emhoff were among the celebs and high-profile supporters spotted celebrating at Zohran Mamdani’s watch party after the dark-horse socialist “crushed” former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic mayoral primary.
The “Sex and The City” star and the stepdaughter of former Vice President Kamala Harris were part of the scores of rowdy followers watching as Mamdani declared victory at his rooftop victory party in Long Island City after midnight on Wednesday.
Democratic Socialists and communists are beside themselves. Here are some of their posts:

Look Into Mamdani’s Connections
Author and conservative speaker Trevor Loudon is urging New Yorkers to look into who they are voting for in Mamdani and what his family connections are:

It is hard to believe that 24 years after 9/11, when radical Islamists took almost three thousand lives that New York City would potentially elect a radical Islamist to be their mayor. If it happens, the Big Apple will fall not only to radical Islam but to the communists. DSA communists have been busy little Marxist bees.
