Iran’s doomsday clock for Israel

In 2015, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei predicted that after 25 years — by 2040 — there will no longer be a State of Israel, and this clock counts off the minutes until the goal is reached:

Iranian outlet publishes footage of Israel doomsday clock that IDF said it destroyed

Despite Israel’s claim that it destroyed a digital display in central Tehran counting down to its destruction, Iran’s semi-official Mehr news outlet publishes what it says is a video showing the doomsday clock still ticking.

The outlet claims that the video was taken this afternoon, following Israel’s announcement that it had hit the clock, along with other “regime targets and governmental repression” units in the Iranian capital. There is no way to verify the authenticity of the video or the claim of when it was filmed. The Iranian regime tightly controls images showing the effects of Israel’s airstrikes.

The digital timekeeper sits (or sat) atop a small billboard in Tehran’s Palestine Square counting down the days to September 2040, which is when Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei predicted there will no longer be a State of Israel.

According to the clock in the video, Israel has 5,569 days left.

10 years ago, Iran was celebrating its “End of America” day and annually rejoices in “Death to America” day:

Wednesday, November 4 marks the thirty-sixth anniversary of the 1979 Iran hostage crisis. Fifty-two Americans were held captive by Iranian “students” at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, subjected to 444 days of living hell.

The milestone might get a brief mention in U.S. news reports, but most Americans won’t reflect much on what happened that day.

Not so in Tehran, where the regime plans to commemorate the Embassy takeover and several other key events in its “revolutionary” history with chants of “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.”

They’ll hold “End of America” conferences and rallies against “global arrogance.”

Anti-American billboards and displays are also popping up in Tehran. One features the iconic image of U.S. Marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima. Except in this image, the hands of the Marines are soaked in blood and instead of rocks, the troops stand on a pile of dead bodies.

Rallies, conferences, chants, billboards, displays, and a penetrating hatred of America and Israel mark celebrations in Iran.

US President Donald Trump asked the Emir of Qatar to broker the ceasefire agreement with Iran …. The Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani secured Iran’s agreement on Monday, … which Trump then announced to the world on social media. Neither the Israeli nor Iranian governments have yet confirmed their agreement to the ceasefire.

HOW DO WE AGREE TO A CEASEFIRE WITH DOZENS OF ISRAELI HOSTAGES TRAPPED FOR YEARS IN DARKNESS AND STARVATION IN TORTURE TUNNELS BUILT WITH IRANIAN MONIES?

As Israel now brings home these lifeless bodies, how are the other hostages protected in the ceasefire agreement with the world’s most prolific terrorist state that has financed the barbaric blood-fest in Gaza and the Gaza War?

Are our hostages being abandoned as we chase “peace on paper”?
