With Iran and Russia meeting Monday to talk about their past agreements on security and defense, President Donald Trump issued a preemptive warning against Russia outfitting Iran with nuclear warheads.
“Did I hear Former President Medvedev, from Russia, casually throwing around the ‘N word’ (Nuclear!), and saying that he and other countries would supply Nuclear Warheads to Iran?” Trump wrote in Truth Social post Monday. “Did he really say that or, is it just a figment of my imagination? If he did say that, and, if confirmed, please let me know, IMMEDIATELY.”
Dmitry Medvedev served as Russia’s president between the two terms of Vladimir Putin 2008-2012, and he remains an ally to Putin and the deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council.
Nuclear powers Russia, China, and North Korea have forged an axis alliance under former President Joe Biden, and Medvedev said Sunday that “a number of countries” are “ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads.”
“The ‘N word’ should not be treated so casually,” Trump’s post continued, adding an appeal to Putin’s authority over Russia and Medvedev. “I guess that’s why Putin’s ‘THE BOSS.’”
Trump added a warning to anyone thinking about supplying Iran with weapons of mass destruction that the full power and might of the U.S. military remains at the ready in the regions of potential movements of nuclear arsenals.
