A senior advisor to Qatar’s Prime Minister condemned Iran’s missile attack on the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, calling it a violation of the country’s sovereignty.
“We consider this a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar, its airspace, international law, and the United Nations Charter,” said Dr. Majed Al Ansari.
He added that Qatar “reserves the right to respond directly in a manner proportionate to the nature and scale of this brazen aggression, in accordance with international law.”
According to Ansari, Qatar’s air defenses successfully intercepted the Iranian missiles.
