President Donald Trump reacted to Iran’s retaliatory strike on U.S. Military bases in Qatar with a TRUTH Social post on Monday; he said he’s glad the number one state sponsor of terror got the attack “out of their system.”
Iran launched retaliatory strikes after the Trump Administration destroyed its nuclear facilities over the weekend using B-2 stealth bombers and bunker-busting bombs.

Iran has officially responded to our Obliteration of their Nuclear Facilities with a very weak response, which we expected, and have very effectively countered. There have been 14 missiles fired — 13 were knocked down, and 1 was “set free,” because it was headed in a nonthreatening direction. I am pleased to report that NO Americans were harmed, and hardly any damage was done. Most importantly, they’ve gotten it all out of their “system,” and there will, hopefully, be no further HATE. I want to thank Iran for giving us early notice, which made it possible for no lives to be lost, and nobody to be injured. Perhaps Iran can now proceed to Peace and Harmony in the Region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

The White House announced that the president has no plans to retaliate.
“As long as it stands, Trump has no intention of retaliating for the ‘failed retaliation,’” the source said, suggesting that tensions in the Middle East will soon de-escalate following Saturday’s US strike on three Iranian nuclear facilities.
U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres condemned “every escalation” in the spiraling conflict between the U.S., Israel, and Iran — and called for “a return to diplomacy” after Iran launched retaliatory strikes on American bases Monday.
Guterres is “being supportive of any diplomatic efforts that can be restored,” UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric told reporters, adding that he “has condemned every escalation in this conflict.”
“What we need to see is not more missiles going both ways or different ways. What we need to see is, as we said, a return to diplomacy,” he added.
“The more we see unilateral use of force, the more we see violations of international law, the riskier the region gets.”
