When Sunny Hostin asked Kamala Harris what she would have done differently during her time as Vice President, Harris responded that there wasn’t a single thing, implying she had made no mistakes. She said this despite the country facing record inflation and one of the worst border crises in American history. So when she doubled down and suggested she’d do it all the same if given the chance, it didn’t exactly resonate with swing voters in middle America.
And because Hostin should have predicted she would be incapable of answering this question, given the fact that she has more trouble putting together sentences than Sleepy Joe, Brian Teta had to ask her what it feels like to have taken down “democracy itself” with her softball question.
LOL. It definitely was not a “tough question.” And if they like to ask tough questions, why don’t they ask tough questions?
The thing is, that was a super easy question—she could’ve just made something up. It’s such a common one, too, and, weirdly, her team didn’t prep her for it way before the interview.
Nonetheless, the most disingenuous part of this whole exchange is that no one actually elected Kamala Harris to be the candidate. She was effectively installed during one of the most undemocratic elections in recent history. So while they laugh it off, they show a complete lack of self-awareness, especially given that every one of them played a role in one of the biggest political cover-ups in American history.
And what makes this even more pathetic is that they are laughing about it, as they continue to mock the American people they intentionally deceived for over four years.
We can blame Kamala for much of the failures of the Biden Administration because it was at least two of her tie-breaking votes that caused calamity after calamity. This is why her implying she would make no changes “took down the Democratic Party.”
That being said, although that question did Kamala no favors, it also would not have mattered. The American people knew exactly what she represented, and it certainly was not in the interest of voters. And to say we dodged a bullet with her would be an understatement.
