Alleged “worship” team performs profanity laced LGBTQ song to a church full of children

“There might be a swear word in the song,” — and by ‘might,’ they meant there definitely would be, per the woke worship team at Zao MKE Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. However, they failed to mention that the song would focus on sexual preferences and glorify behavior many consider sinful — but that’s neither here nor there.

The song was titled “Thank God For That,” and it was intended to emphasize how proud they are to be gay. It included lyrics such as “I’m f****** gay and thank God for that, Christians cast me out but Jesus had my back.”

I’m truly sorry you had to hear that, but since I had to experience it, now you do too.

You know, they really did not have to debut this song. It’s pretty clear that they are “really gay.” And they could have just said they hate Christians; they really did not have to do all of that.

According to Protestia:

Zao MKE Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is led by Rev. Jonah P. Overton (they/them) and Cameron Overton. Married in 2018, they present as a gay homosexual couple, when in reality, both are biological women, making them a gay, lesbian couple.

Describing themselves as “Jesus Rooted, Justice Centered, Radically Inclusive,” a Q Worship Collective describes them as “a church that is being recreated and reimagined by people who were historically denied access to traditional Christian leadership.”

Why do some people feel the need to present themselves as Christians while openly opposing what the Gospel teaches? If the goal is to glorify sin, what’s the point of claiming to follow Christ at all? Yes, we are all sinners, but the Bible clearly warns against those who parade around in “church” with the intent to lead others away from God’s word.

But this is not surprising coming from this church because while the Bible teaches that humans are inherently sinful, transgender pastor Jonah Overton would prefer you believe otherwise, as she claims we are inherently good.

Again, it’s unclear why these people insist on calling themselves a church when they clearly reject everything God asks of us—but sure, let them carry on. That said, there is only one unforgivable sin: blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. And they should really, really think about that before pulling another stunt like this.
