When regular ole’ woke isn’t cutting it anymore, this is what happens.
As homelessness and drug addiction run rampant in Portland, local Democrats have been busy patting themselves on the back for passing a partisan resolution to “recognize and honor” the “history of black drag” in Oregon.
Yup, you read that correctly.
Part of the “background” behind the resolution reads as follows:
Oregon has a rich tradition of building, supporting, and celebrating LGBTQ communities, and the Black drag
community in Portland is among the most vibrant and storied in the entire United States. June is Pride Month, a
time when many members of the LGBTQ community honor the history and struggles that led to the
advancements in rights for LGBTQ people today. Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved Black
people and is celebrated today as a national and state holiday.
Republican State Rep. Dwayne Yunker was understandably outraged by the resolution and warned constituents of the performative theater that was about to take place in legislative chambers.
“This is outrageous and a complete waste of taxpayer money,” he railed on X and provided a list of Democrat names who supported the nonsense.
Tomorrow at 11 a.m., when the House convenes, two drag queens will be performing a lip-sync in honor of a Democratic House resolution recognizing Black drag queens in Oregon.

Video of the lip-synching spectacle didn’t take long to spread on social media, where the flailing performance was panned on X, along with the Democrats, who clearly aren’t serious about their positions.
This was the Oregon House floor this morning used to celebrate Black Drag Queens.
I’m not sure the Founding Fathers envisioned taxpayer-funded legislative chambers being turned into platforms for political theater. The House floor is meant for serious debate, lawmaking, and… pic.twitter.com/FrwjaRqPw0

The Oregon House of Representatives….let that sink in.
Parents are doing all the they can to clean their schools and elected representatives are doing this in the house of the people.
No words.

This is why those who can are fleeing blue states. Unreal.
Oregon is incredibly beautiful.
So many fine people in the rural areas.
But it’s just like every other state democrats have ruined with their urban plantation model.

It’s so sad, and obvious at the same time. The bizarre scene also sparked considerable confusion.
I’ve got to know. Oregonians? Oregonites? People of Oregon? Are you really ok with this? Bc a lot of us are looking the west coast and wondering what the hell is going on. I’m asking seriously, is this really something you celebrate in your own capital bc you love it? It looks…

@decoyposts @tsplyy can anyone tell me why an event like this would be happening before the House of Representatives in any state or community? Are they seeking funding of some sort? I mean, there’s a time in a place for everything. I’m not sure what I’m seeing here. Can anyone…
