Fifth Grader put in position where she has to explain difference between boys and girls to grown adults on the school board

“Men and women are very different. This is why there are girls’ sports and boys’ sports,” one fifth grader told the Board of Education for Naperville District 203.

Honestly, this shouldn’t even need to be said—it’s so basic that even toddlers get it. But because the left woke up one day and decided gender and sex are somehow different things (while still pushing policies that contradict that claim), we’re now in a place where a fifth grader has to remind adults of basic biology.

Callie McKinnon, the very bold fifth grader, spoke up about how upset she’d be if a boy came in and took a winning title from her in sports. That’s why she said she believes boys should compete with boys, and girls should compete with girls.

This should not be controversial, and the fact that a child has to educate the school board on such a basic concept, something even cavemen were unconfused about, is a scandal in itself.

According to Off The Press, “A biological male was recently allowed to compete in girls’ events at a middle school track meet, sparking outrage in the district.” And by the left’s standards, the fact that these girls don’t just acquiesce and accept this as their undeniable fate somehow makes them bigoted and transphobic. However, common sense tells you that couldn’t be further from the truth—but sense isn’t so common among the most radical leftists.

It’s truly baffling that young girls now have to stand up for the integrity of sports while fighting against adults who are the ones creating policies that undermine it. And the fact that the left claims to support women’s rights—while also pretending to be the compassionate side—is astonishing.

This is a slap in the face to female athletes everywhere.

In 2025, this shouldn’t even be an issue. Honestly, it shouldn’t have been an issue 2,025 years ago—or ever. This is one of the least confusing concepts in human history. It’s so basic that you have to deliberately lie to deny it. Yet here we are, with national efforts to blur gender lines all over again. Now, even fifth graders are stepping into the fight, and the left is entirely responsible for that. And frankly, there’s nothing compassionate about it.
