Famous Sitcom Star Set to Become a Father Again at Age 70

“Frasier” star Kelsey Grammer is reportedly about to become a father — for the eighth time — at age 70.

Grammer was seen in London’s Hyde Park on Tuesday alongside his pregnant wife, Kayte Walsh, according to the Daily Mail. Walsh, 46, and Grammer already share three children together.

The couple has not publicly announced the pregnancy. But Walsh appeared visibly far along, sparking widespread speculation.

They’re already parents to 12-year-old Faith, 10-year-old Kelsey Gabriel, and 8-year-old Auden “James” Ellis. This would be their fourth child together.

A source reportedly close to the family told the Daily Mail, “Kelsey is thrilled to finally have time to fully enjoy being a father all over again.”

The source added the pregnancy was unexpected but has “reignited a spark” in the couple’s marriage. “He’s been incredibly supportive of Kayte throughout,” they said.

Grammer has seven children total from past relationships, ranging in age from 8 to 40. He told People in May that he’s “trying to make up” for time missed with his older kids.

“I have neglected a couple of the kids in my life, especially the first two,” he said. “I’m still their dad, so you can always have [a] chance to show up.”
