I have zero doubt that most of California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s fake outrage over Trump’s immigration agenda is his way of positioning himself for the 2028 presidential election.
Newsom is termed limited and cannot run in the next governor’s election, so his choice is to move to Congress or go for the White House if he wants to keep collecting that government paycheck.
By all signs, Newsom is quickly building his profile and gaining support as the right man to take on the GOP, but moderates beware of the man’s real agenda.
The hidden files
A report broke this week on Fox News regarding a report that was issued by Catholic Vote on Newsom.
The group claims the report highlights the California governor’s “extreme” and “viciously anti-Christian agenda.”
Newsom has been getting all kinds of headlines of late for going toe-to-toe with Donald Trump and Tom Homan.
For instance, during a recent Homan interview, the border czar’s comments were taken a bit out of context, and it came off as him threatening to arrest Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Newsom.
Homan later explained the full context of his comments, but that did not stop Newsom, who, during a nationally televised segment, dared the Trump administration official to come and get him.
He is now the slick-haired tough guy, and his act is being bought hook, line, and sinker by the far left, and yes, even some moderates who don’t like Trump are starting to take a bite of the poisonous apple here.
Catholic Vote, however, is putting out a word of warning in its report, claiming that Newsom is “one of America’s most radical, destructive politicians” who “remains the same ideologue who has trampled parental rights, championed the transgender mutilation of children, and taken pro-abortion advocacy to a sickening extreme.”
The report continues, “California’s governor claims to be a Catholic ‘man of faith,’ but he has a viciously anti-Christian agenda for America.”
I have always believed that Newsom was a pathetic governor and a complete and utter fraud.
While his state was in disarray, he was coming to my state, Texas, to make a case against Gov. Greg Abbott.
Abbott is far from perfect, but I will take him any day over Newsom.
The report continues, “Gavin Newsom may be adjusting his style and image. But he remains the same ideologue who has trampled parental rights, championed the transgender mutilation of children, and taken pro-abortion advocacy to a sickening extreme.”
I really hope people are paying attention because right now, I think Newsom and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) are probably the two biggest threats the GOP will see in 2028, and I would not be surprised to see them combine forces and join the same ticket to try to beat the GOP in next presidential election.
