Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) just spearheaded a letter signed by more than 10 Senate Democrats attacking attempts to cut abortion funding. Sanders called it a “war” against health care — but what he’s really upset about is cutting off our tax dollars from abortion providers, including those selling abortion pills and funding Planned Parenthood.
And this isn’t just political noise. As the Senate debates the 2026 budget, pro-abortion groups just launched a five-million-dollar national ad blitz to pressure key legislators. These ads are flooding swing states, targeting conservative senators, and demanding a budget that protects abortion, pushes LGBT+ ideology, and expands Big Government programs.
Radicals claim this “reconciliation push” is about “unrigging the economy” — but what they really want is more taxpayer cash to fund their social agenda.

Your voice is critical. Fax the Senate right now and demand an end to taxpayer-funded abortion.
We’ve entered the most critical phase of the budget fight — the backroom, horse-trading when powerful lobbyists roam the D.C. hallways and cut deals behind closed doors. This is where taxpayers get betrayed.
The media is complicit in spreading outright lies. They claim millions will lose “health care” if this budget passes. But key Republicans are fighting back with the truth:
- This budget simply requires able-bodied adults without children to work or volunteer.
- It removes illegal immigrants from taxpayer-funded programs.
- It stops fraud by ending double-enrollment in multiple states (already illegal).
- And it DEFUNDS Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion.
But the pressure to cave is intense. Senators are being hounded. And if we don’t speak up, they may fold.
Unfortunately, we are one vote away from losing this fight.
Right now, Senate Republicans are holding the line with 51 votes. But just one defection could trigger a 50-50 tie — if we are not careful it could hand control of the entire 2026 budget process to Democrats.
That would force a continuing resolution that extends Joe Biden’s abortion-soaked budget for another year.
Abortion activists know this. That’s why they’ve handpicked three states and are flooding them with millions of dollars in ads to pressure swing vote Republicans to oppose this bill and sink this budget behind closed doors.
Unless taxpayers speak out, abortion’s biggest allies will win — not in public debate, but in secret meetings.
Liberty Counsel Action is in the fight
Our team in D.C. was the first group meeting with key budget writers in the House and Senate. We’ve supplied research, helped draft amendments, and pushed hard for pro-life riders in this year’s bill.
But we can’t outspend a five-million-dollar ad blitz. And we can’t buy access like Planned Parenthood or George Soros can.
What we do have is you.
We have tens of thousands of faithful Americans who are willing to fax, donate, pray, and speak out. And this week, your voice may be the deciding factor. Every win we’ve had comes because patriots like you step up and take action.
God’s command is clear
Scripture says: “Do no wrong or violence to the innocent … and do not shed innocent blood in this place” (Jeremiah 22:3). But right now, our federal budget is soaked in the blood of the innocent.
If we don’t act now, we risk funding hundreds of thousands of abortions for another year.
