White House staff must be pulling Joe Biden’s puppet strings, House Speaker Mike Johnson believes. That’s the only possible reason nobody is lifting a finger to stop the migrant invasion. Joe claims he doesn’t have the power to do anything on the border. That only makes sense when you factor in the fact that what progressives really want to do is expedite the flow. Joe really is powerless on that part. Legally, anyway.
Staff running West Wing
On Friday, February 2, House Speaker Mike Johnson told Fox viewers that Joe’s “staff is keeping him from taking executive action to stem the flow of migrants on the southern border.”
He could do it if he wants, he’s simply not allowed. All they let him do is eat ice cream. Any time he sets down the spoon he starts a diplomatic crisis. Joe only thinks those are the nuclear launch codes in his pocket. One of his “aides” has the real set.
“He knows that he has the authority. We’ve documented it for him,” the Louisiana conservative insists. If Joe’s staff is telling him otherwise, they’re lying. “I’ve read to him the law myself.”
Mike Johnson thinks Joe Biden May Not be not Allowed to Close the Border
“I cannot understand why President Biden would not hide his existing executive authority he has right now, to stop this. He won’t.”
Instead, he says give me the power…

Johnson looked Joe square in the eye and asked nicely, “please take action.” Instead of those red laser beams which the “Dark Brandon” officially White House produced memes portray, all the speaker got back from Joe was a glassy stare.
“I don’t think he’s allowed to do it. I’m not sure Joe Biden is actually making these decisions. I think it’s staff around him.” It’s clear to Johnson that they’re ordering him to keep the border open.
For weeks now, Republicans have been screaming for Joe to take some sort of executive action aimed at reducing the overwhelming flood of invaders. There are all sorts of things he could be doing but everyone in Brussels would have a conniption if he did any of them.
Remain in Mexico
One thing Johnson has been demanding is a reinstatement of rightful President Donald Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy. Completing construction of the security wall wouldn’t be a bad idea but conservatives would be happy if Joe stopped cutting the razor wire put up by Texas. He doesn’t need congressional authority for any of that.
All he needs is his staff to prepare the paperwork and they won’t do it. All he every hears is “we prefer not to. Have another bowl of Ben & Jerry’s, Joe.”
RINO Senators teaming up with hard-core Democrats, to tie aid for Ukraine in with “border and migration policy changes,” have Johnson ready to bang someone over the head with his gavel. If Joe’s staff won’t cooperate, House Republicans won’t either. It’s a Mexican standoff.

If the final text put out by the Senate has any of the things in it which got leaked on TV then the bill is DOA already.
Pushing back on the nasty comments Johnson made about them, Joe’s propaganda team issued a statement. “Speaker Johnson claimed he believes action should be taken to secure the border. Yet it is House Republicans who are saying they will block an historic bipartisan border security deal.”
It does nothing to stop the invasion and everything to make it flow faster. The Democrat deal would “deliver much-needed law enforcement hiring and investments in cutting-edge technology to stop fentanyl trafficking,” spokesunit Andrew Bates snarled back, on behalf of disgruntled staff.
