Vance Boelter, the suspect arrested in the murder of Minnesota Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband, reportedly left a chilling “hit list” of around 70 potential targets.
Knewz.com has learned that the hit list includes the names of Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and the offices of multiple abortion providers.

Boelter also shot and injured DFL Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette. The couple is currently hospitalized, according to reports.
The weekend shootings in Minnesota sparked what Governor Tim Walz called a “complex and dangerous” search that spanned nearly two full days and involved local, state, and federal law enforcement entities.
According to reports, over 100 law enforcement officials spent Sunday afternoon and evening searching parts of Green Isle, where the suspect had a residence.
The search was followed by the discovery of a vehicle associated with Boelter as well as a hat he was previously seen wearing.

After 43 hours, the “largest manhunt in state history” came to an end on June 15, when 57-year-old Boelter was arrested by officers from multiple agencies in rural Sibley County, about 50 miles from the suburban homes where the shootings took place.
“A tip about Boelter’s whereabouts allowed law enforcement to converge on his location with the help of SWAT teams, the FBI, and the Minnesota State Patrol’s air unit,” reports have mentioned.
“One man’s unthinkable actions have altered the state of Minnesota,” Governor Walz said in a statement to reporters on Sunday night, adding that he pledged to “put every ounce of effort that the state of Minnesota has to make sure that justice is served and the individual responsible for this serves the time for the unspeakable act.”

The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office has unsealed a criminal complaint charging Boelter with two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder, reports have mentioned.
According to the police, Boelter left behind a handwritten document roughly two pages long and containing 60 to 70 names that was initially described by law enforcement as a “manifesto.”
However, the document turned out to be less than an ideological essay and more of a notebook “with a lot of lawmakers and others … as opposed to a succinct document.”
Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Superintendent Drew Evans said at a news briefing, “This is not a document that would be like a traditional manifesto that’s a treatise on all kinds of ideology and writings.”
“I don’t want the public to have the impression that there’s this long manifesto that’s providing all of this information and details and then associated with names. It’s much more about names,” Evans added.

Another individual familiar with the investigation who saw the list said that Rep. Hortman’s name was towards the end of the list, not at the top.
The list also contains the names of Senator Tina Smith (D-MN), who spoke to the Hortmans at a DFL fundraising dinner the night before they were killed, and Representative Kelly Morrison.
“This is really a dark and scary moment for our state and for our country and a lot of things,” Rep. Morrison said in an interview.
“I think, of course, about my own safety, and I think about the safety of my loved ones as well… Of course, it’s scary,” Senator Smith said in a statement.
Senate Majority Leader Erin Murphy expressed “profound gratitude for law enforcement officers” in a social media statement following Boelter’s arrest, writing:
“Profound gratitude for law enforcement officers who spent countless hours keeping safe our members & bringing the man who attacked, wounded, &assassinated our colleagues into custody. Love to my Senate & House colleagues who will emerge from an active threat and begin to grieve.”
