If an entire industry or business solely survives due to imported, cheap labor, that may or may not be an indication that it should cease to exist. So, while the left would love it if you were to believe we would have a rotting produce epidemic if some humans are illegal, that likely could not be further from the truth. Nonetheless, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass would like the POTUS to know that “entire sectors of [LA’s] economy cannot function without immigrant labor.” And by “immigrant labor,” she means imported, illegal labor.
LOL. CNN just had to throw in that the protests were “largely peaceful.” As you know, this means things did not end so peacefully.
Do they not realize they’re using the word “peaceful” while showing footage that’s anything but?
Nonetheless, Karen Bass is just as pathetic, as she turns a blind eye to part of her city burning, while she advocates for importing a second-class citizen to perform her slave labor.
According to Fox News:
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass hit back at President Donald Trump’s Marine and National Guard deployments in her city, telling CNN’s Dana Bash “we don’t want them here.”
“I do want to dispel the notion that the military is here. We don’t want them here, they don’t need to be here. Our local law enforcement has complete control of the situation,” Bass said on “State of the Union” Sunday.
If the military does not need to be there, then why do they need to be there?
Protests continued in Los Angeles over the following week, culminating in a large demonstration as part of the nationwide “No Kings” protest on Saturday. Bass downplayed the unrest in her city, saying that recent protests took place in a “small sliver of our town” and put the blame for any unrest squarely on Trump’s deportation raids. Bass called Saturday’s protests “overwhelmingly peaceful” and said that there were sectors of Los Angeles’ economy that couldn’t survive without illegal immigrant labor.
“There were a lot of people out, about 30,000. Out of that big crowd five people were arrested, about 30 were given citations and there were injuries on both sides. Officers were injured and so were people that were there,” Bass said.
“If the raids hadn’t happened, then that protest would have been a ‘No Kings’ protest, we know that was planned months in advance. But the disruption and the fear that has been caused by the outrage by the raids has really had a devastating effect and has been a body blow to our economy.”
Correction: It’s the fear-mongering and lies coming from the left that cause “disruption and fear.”
For example, stories like this below cause naive voters to truly believe innocent people are being kidnapped off the street.
Most people won’t actually read the article beyond the headline. And by that alone, it’s enough to get the naive masses to believe that a pregnant woman was randomly targeted by ICE, despite being an American citizen, solely because of her race. However, in the very first sentence, it states, “U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem joined federal immigration agents Thursday on a raid targeting a man with a criminal record.”
So, in other words, it had nothing to do with the pregnant woman, but the intent was to mislead, not inform. This is exactly what Karen Bass is doing and what the left continues to do.
Nonetheless, just because the left tells you the economy would cease to exist if not for cheap labor from undocumented people, that does not make it true. And the fact that Karen Bass believes that puts her on the compassionate side is deeply pathetic.
