President Donald Trump has thrown his full support behind Israel’s massive overnight attack on Iran, praising the “excellent” preemptive offensive.
Knewz.com has learned that in a statement to reporters, President Trump warned Iran that “there’s more to come.”

In a culmination of decades of warnings from Israel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out massive air strikes on Iran early morning on Friday, June 13, targeting the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program.
The pre-dawn airstrikes, dubbed “Operation Rising Lion” by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, marked the most significant Israeli military action against Iran to date and were aimed at “rolling back the Iranian threat to Israel’s very survival.”
“In recent months, Iran has taken steps that it has never taken before, steps to weaponise this enriched uranium, and if not stopped, Iran could produce a nuclear weapon in a very short time. It could be a year. It could be within a few months, less than a year. That is why we have no choice but to act and act now. The hardest decision any leader has to make is sworn in danger before it is fully materialised,” Netanyahu said in his statement.

According to military sources in Israel, more than 200 fighter jets participated in the coordinated attacks, striking over 100 strategic sites across Iran—including nuclear enrichment facilities at Natanz and Fordow, missile production plants, and headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Speaking with ABC News Chief Washington Correspondent Jonathan Karl, President Trump praised the early morning airstrike, saying:
“I think it’s been excellent. We gave them a chance and they didn’t take it. They got hit hard, very hard. They got hit about as hard as you’re going to get hit. And there’s more to come. a lot more.”
The President also spoke with Fox & Friends co-host Lawrence Jones about the Israeli strike on Iran. According to reports, Trump said, “It didn’t have to go down like this. I wanted peace. I wanted to be known as the president of peace. This is why I took a whole tour in the Middle East.”
On Thursday night, President Trump had a conversation with Fox News anchor Bret Baier, and he was quoted as saying, “Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb and we are hoping to get back to the negotiating table. We will see. There are several people in leadership that will not be coming back.”
Baier added that the President indicated that he had prior knowledge of the Israeli strike and that there were “no surprises there,” although mentioning that the United States was not involved in the attack.
The Fox News anchor further stated that the United States Central Command was on high alert, in preparation for a possible retaliation from Iran, and that the President said that the U.S. would help defend Israel if necessary.
Trump also fired a flurry of social media posts on his Truth Social platform over the past day, saying that Iran was given a 60-day ultimatum to “make a deal.”

“Today is day 61. I told them what to do, but they just couldn’t get there. Now they have, perhaps, a second chance!” the president wrote.
Notably, while Trump endorsed the attack on Iran, Secretary of State Marco Rubio was quick to distance Washington from the overnight airstrike in his statement.
“Tonight, Israel took unilateral action against Iran… We are not involved in strikes against Iran and our top priority is protecting American forces in the region. Israel advised us that they believe this action was necessary for its self-defence.”
“President Trump and the administration have taken all necessary steps to protect our forces and remain in close contact with our regional partners. Let me be clear: Iran should not target US interests or personnel,” Rubio added.
