The Virgin Mary and Blessed Carlo Acutis will be among the featured figures in the second season of “Martin Scorsese Presents: THE SAINTS,” the FOX Nation docudrama set to return in November 2025.
The streaming series, hosted and executive produced by filmmaker Martin Scorsese, will explore the lives of eight saints over the course of eight new episodes.
FOX News Media announced the season renewal this week, confirming that other featured saints will include Sts. Peter, Paul, Patrick, Longinus, Lucia, and Thomas Becket. The new episodes will premiere in two parts, with the first four releasing weekly in late 2025 and the final four scheduled for spring 2026.
The show’s first season, which profiled saints such as Joan of Arc, Mary Magdalene, and Maximilian Kolbe, became FOX Nation’s highest-performing series to date, according to the network.

Scorsese described the project as deeply personal.
“For many years, I dreamed of telling stories of the lives of the saints. It’s been an obsession of mine for as long as I can remember,” he said in Fox News Media’s release. “So the chance to do this series meant the world to me, and it’s heartening to know that people have responded to it. I’m very excited to be coming back for a second season.”
Creator Matti Leshem credited the show’s success to its focus on courage, sacrifice, and faith, calling those qualities “the very best of humanity.”
