After determining they could wait no longer and that the threat of an Iranian nuke was just too great, Israel carried out bombings Thursday evening/Friday morning on Iran’s nuclear and military sites. That occurred while Mossad conducted surgical assassinations of top military brass and scientists in Operation Rising Lion.
FAFO – Israel Makes Its Move on Iran
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed that they have hit one of Iran’s top nuclear facilities in the strike.
“Iran has produced enough highly enriched uranium for nine atom bombs, nine,” Netanyahu declared in a public address according to Fox News. “In recent months, Iran is taking steps that it has never taken before, steps to weaponize this enriched uranium. And if not stopped, Iran could produce a nuclear weapon in a very short time.”

Lame Response by Iran
Following the initial strikes against Iran, the mullahs launched approximately 100 drones at Israel that the IDF swatted down like bothersome flies. The strikes carried out Thursday night are thought to be only the first stage of a days’ long attack against Iran.
Fox News reported:
The Natanz Nuclear Facility – one of Tehran’s key nuclear sites and which has been flagged by security experts that in coordination with the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant, could produce enough weapons-grade uranium to produce 11 nuclear weapons within a month – has been hit in the strikes, though the extent of the damage remains unknown.
Netanyahu Gives Fiery Defense for Attack on Iran
Netanyahu was blunt in his defense of the strike. He asserted it was to protect Israel, America, and the free world before it was too late. Many believe that the leadership of Iran should have been surgically removed in 1979 when the revolution occurred there. That action can no longer wait, as the radical Islamists will surely use nuclear weapons against both Israel and America.
“We struck at the heart of Iran’s nuclear enrichment program. We struck at the heart of Iran’s nuclear weaponization program,” Netanyahu stated. “We targeted Iran’s main enrichment facility in Natanz.”
“We targeted Iran’s leading nuclear scientists working on the Iranian bomb,” he added.

In 2020, the Natanz Nuclear Facility was partially destroyed following an explosion. After that, Iran started constructing deep underground tunnels to protect its apocalyptic weaponry and to hide its progress on its nuclear program from the world.
“We will not let the world’s most dangerous regime get the world’s most dangerous weapons, and Iran plans to give those weapons, nuclear weapons, to its terrorist proxies,” Netanyahu claimed. “That would make the nightmare of nuclear terrorism all too real.”
“The increasing range of Iran’s ballistic missiles would bring that nuclear nightmare to the cities of Europe, and eventually to America,” he warned.
Military Bases Hit
It is also being reported that the Parchin Military Complex was hit in Iran, but Fox News could not confirm it. That complex, which houses a nuclear weapons research facility, was substantially damaged by Israel in previous strikes.
Fox News also reports that five other military bases surrounding Tehran were hit last night.
The attack by Israel was the result of years of covert planning, surveillance, and infiltration by Israeli intelligence. It is a masterclass in spy craft, just as the Grim Beeper operation was.

Mossad Humiliates Iran
Mossad agents had infiltrated Iran to supply intelligence and support to Israel’s military while fighter jets bombed nuclear and military targets across the country.
From Fox News:
Code-named “Am Kelavi” (Rising Lion), the preemptive operation was the product of unprecedented coordination between the Israeli air force, the Military Intelligence Directorate, Mossad and the country’s defense industries. For years, they worked “shoulder to shoulder” to gather the intelligence files needed to eliminate Iran’s most sensitive military and nuclear assets.
A senior Israeli security official told Fox News Digital, “The Mossad worked with a huge number of people—a mass of agents deep inside Iran, operating at the highest level of penetration imaginable. Some of these agents were retrained as commando fighters to carry out mission-critical operations.”
That work culminated in what the official described as a three-layered strike. “We eliminated vast areas of Iran’s surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missile infrastructure, a massive number of senior scientists, and large portions of their air defense systems.”
“We established a drone base inside Iran, and at zero hour, Mossad operatives retrieved them from hiding spots. We placed precision missiles on numerous vehicles and embedded additional missiles throughout the country, hidden inside rocks. We activated this entire array in precise coordination with the Israeli air force.”

Dozens of sites were simultaneously hit by Israeli jets, including Natanz, which Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin, the Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson, described as an underground compound containing multi-level centrifuge halls and electrical infrastructure.
“We inflicted significant damage on this site,” he stated. “This facility was used by the IRGC to advance Iran’s project for acquiring nuclear weapons.”
A massive intelligence and sabotage campaign played out inside Iran. A former senior Israeli official told Fox News Digital, “There was activity inside Iran—an insane level of intelligence work. They located the entire command center of the Iranian Air Force. All the commanders were together, and they were taken out in real time.”
The timing was perfect since Iran’s military had brought together its top air force leaders in one place for a drill that was meant to deter its enemies. Instead, it provided the perfect opportunity to wipe them out, and Israel took full advantage of it.
More from Fox News:
The Mossad’s infiltration campaign involved the quiet smuggling of sophisticated weaponry into Iran, hidden inside vehicles and embedded near strategic targets. In central Iran, precision-guided weapons were planted near surface-to-air missile batteries and launched on command. Disguised vehicles were also used to destroy Iran’s air defense systems at the moment of the strike. Meanwhile, explosive drones positioned near Tehran were activated to destroy long-range missile launchers at the Esfajabad base.
All of it took place under the watch of Iranian intelligence and succeeded without detection.
Israeli defense officials now say the mission represents one of the most successful intelligence-military integrations in the country’s history. If the Lebanon pagers stunned the world, the message from this strike is even clearer: nowhere is out of reach.
Iran Regroups – Vows Revenge
Iran has already replaced its military leaders after being humiliated on the global stage, and they are sure to keep retaliating. The situation will almost certainly escalate at this point. Diplomacy was never going to work with Iran. They are hellbent on wiping out Israel, so the Jewish nation was forced to preemptively protect itself.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has branded the Israeli strikes on its nuclear facilities, military leaders, and scientists as a “declaration of war.”
They are also blaming the United States, although Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the U.S. was not involved and warned Iran about attacking American bases and personnel.
Marco Rubio Issues Warning to Iran
“Tonight, Israel took unilateral action against Iran,” Rubio said in a statement. “We are not involved in strikes against Iran, and our top priority is protecting American forces in the region. Israel advised us that they believe this action was necessary for its self-defense.”
“President Trump and the Administration have taken all necessary steps to protect our forces and remain in close contact with our regional partners,” Rubio also stated. “Let me be clear: Iran should not target US interests or personnel.”

Iran Blames the Great Satan
Iran released a statement claiming Israel’s “aggression against Iran could not have been carried out without the coordination and approval of the United States.”
“Consequently, the U.S. government, as the primary patron of this regime, will also bear responsibility for the dangerous repercussions of the Zionist regime’s reckless actions,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry charged in a statement released on Friday, laying the groundwork for war with both the Great and Little Satan.
The strikes carried out by Israel killed both the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hossein Salami, and the country’s chief of staff of the armed forces, Gen. Mohammad Bagheri. According to the Jerusalem Post, Ahmad Vahidi was appointed to temporarily replace Salami, and Habibollah Sayyari will fill in for Bagheri.
From Fox News:
Iran’s Foreign Ministry said Friday that Israel’s strikes “constitute a violation of Article 2(4) of the U.N. Charter and a blatant act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. “
“In accordance with Article 51 of the U.N. Charter, Iran reserves the legitimate and legal right to respond to this aggression. The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not hesitate to defend Iran’s sovereignty with full strength and in the manner they deem appropriate,” it continued.
“As a founding member of the United Nations — an organization whose very purpose is to prevent aggression, breaches of peace, and threats to peace — the Islamic Republic of Iran underscores the Security Council’s obligation to take immediate action against this violation of international peace and security, stemming from the Zionist regime’s blatant aggression. We call upon the President and members of the Council to act without delay in this regard,” the foreign ministry added.
“The grave and far-reaching consequences of the Zionist regime’s aggression against our beloved homeland, Iran, will rest entirely upon this regime and its supporters,” it also said.
Trump Warns Iran to Strike a Deal
President Trump evidently knew that the Israel attack on Iran was coming but America was not involved in carrying it out. However, the president did warn Iran that they need to cut a deal on nuclear activity or Israel’s next round of attacks could be “even more brutal” now that the 60-day window he gave them has expired.
“Two months ago I gave Iran a 60 day ultimatum to ‘make a deal.’ They should have done it! Today is day 61,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “I told them what to do, but they just couldn’t get there. Now they have, perhaps, a second chance!”
“I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest of words, to ‘just do it,’ but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done,” he added.
“There has already been great death and destruction, but there is still time to make this slaughter, with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal, come to an end,” Trump advised. “Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left, and save what was once known as the Iranian Empire. No more death, no more destruction, JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.”

Trump wasn’t done warning Iran of what is to come, noting that “the United States makes the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the World, BY FAR, and that Israel has a lot of it, with much more to come – And they know how to use it. Certain Iranian hardliner’s spoke bravely, but they didn’t know what was about to happen. They are all DEAD now, and it will only get worse!”
Obviously, the nuclear talks scheduled between the U.S. and Iran for Sunday are unlikely to occur at this point. It is highly doubtful that Netanyahu will wait to see if they will materialize.
If the conflict continues to escalate, it could usher in WWIII. The stock market is already wobbling, and oil prices are climbing. If Iran shuts off the Straits of Hormuz, they will skyrocket, and all-out war will be all but assured.
One thing is for sure: this is far from over.
