Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna is
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna confirmed in a June 10 post made on X that an official inquiry into banning Code Pink from the Capitol had been discussed with the House Speaker.
“I have talked to @SpeakerJohnson about banning @codepink from the Capitol,” Luna announced in a June 10 post on X. “Given that they are foreign funded and directly tied to China, they have no right to interfere with American politics and have no place in the US Capitol.”
Loomer’s reporting, which has gone viral across social media, reignited national security concerns about foreign infiltration and communist influence inside the halls of Congress.
Congresswoman Luna Responds to Loomer Report
The announcement came after Loomer published a bombshell report detailing how Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans is married to Neville Roy Singham—a millionaire Marxist activist who funds pro-CCP propaganda networks and has been linked to Chinese state media influence operations. It is believed that Singham lives in China. On June 10, Rep. Luna confirmed directly to Loomer that after reviewing her report, she consulted with Speaker Mike Johnson about banning Code Pink from having Capitol access.
Code Pink Confronts Luna—Fails to Intimidate
In a wild turn of events, the day following Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s announcement, Code Pink activists stormed the Congresswoman’s office.
This time, Code Pink activists failed to get their way. During a June 11 confrontation in her congressional office, they were unable to pressure Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna into backing down. Frustrated and defeated, Code Pink issued a statement on X and their official website claiming that Rep. Luna abused the power of her public office to “libel” their organization. As a last-ditch pressure tactic, the group threatened to file an ethics complaint against her.
Singham’s Ideological Network and Chinese State Propaganda
Neville Roy Singham, founder of ThoughtWorks, has stated on numerous occasions that China is a model of good governance and was a fan-boy of Hugo Chavez. He’s a communist tech millionaire who’s been on the FBI’s radar for decades and the subject of multiple Congressional probes.
Singham, who currently resides in Shanghai, openly collaborates with Chinese state propaganda outlets. A self-declared Maoist and longtime CCP sympathizer, he funds a global web of nonprofits pushing Beijing’s messaging across U.S. civil society. According to the New York Times, “none of Mr. Singham’s nonprofits have registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, as is required of groups that seek to influence public opinion on behalf of foreign powers.”
The Communist Propaganda Power Couple: Jodie Evans & Neville Roy Singham
In 2017, the same year he sold his company and kickstarted The People’s Forum, Singham married Evans. Their wedding titled “One Love Union-Jodie and Roy,” was Bob Marley-themed with a “radical chic festive” dress code, took place in Jamaica. It was considered a “Who’s Who” of progressivism. Photos from the event show Amy Goodman, host of “Democracy Now!”; Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream; and V, the playwright formerly known as Eve Ensler, who wrote “The Vagina Monologues.” Disturbingly, the 3-day wedding event featured a workshop panel discussion titled, “The Future of the Left.”
Since marrying Evans, Singham has funneled millions into Code Pink and aligned organizations that lobby Congress to adopt a pro-CCP, anti-American, and anti-Israel agenda. According to Influence Watch, “Code Pink is a left-of-center 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 2002 by Medea Benjamin, Jodie Evans, Diane Wilson, and other female activists.”
Jodie Evans’ transformation from criticizing the CCP to championing Chinese communism is stark. Prior to their marriage, Evans supported Chinese feminists and condemned political repression.
Post-marriage, she now praises China’s “beautiful history” and authoritarian model, while running Code Pink’s propaganda campaign, #ChinaIsNotOurEnemy.
How the CCP Funds Code Pink Through Nonprofit Shells
IRS records show $1.4 million in Code Pink’s funding since 2017 came from Singham-linked groups. According to a New York Times investigation, Singham’s network receives support from the Shanghai propaganda department and co-produces content for CCP-aligned media.
“The idea that it’s an authoritarian system that controls everything [in China] is… what a [wild] notion that we’ve been sold,” Evans once said.
In July 2023, she said she couldn’t think of a single negative thing to say about China—other than their stores not taking U.S. credit cards.
Congressional Access and CCP-Aligned Lobbying
While falsely branding themselves as a grassroots peace group, Code Pink has:
- Lobbied against U.S. military support for Taiwan
- Denied China’s genocide against Uyghurs
- Campaigned to defund the Pentagon
- Spread pro-CCP propaganda through social media and Instagram graphics
- Staged pro-Hamas demonstrations and vilified Israel
Singham, as previously reported by The New York Times and The New York Post, is not only married to Evans but has also funneled millions of dollars into activist organizations that parrot CCP messaging. One of those organizations is Code Pink, which has aggressively lobbied U.S. lawmakers to soften stances on Beijing. They oppose military readiness in the Indo-Pacific Code Pink also lobbies Congress to abandon support for Taiwan and Israel.
“They are literally in Congress every day,” Loomer wrote on June 9. “Perhaps Code Pink are serving as spies and operatives for the CCP.”
Capitol Access While Promoting Enemy Regimes
Despite this, Code Pink has enjoyed virtually unrestricted access to the U.S. Capitol. Their members have thrown paint on walls. Code Pink has vandalized Congressional property and disrupted hearings without consequence. This highlights the double standard in how left-wing agitators are treated compared to previously prosecuted January 6 protestors. Fortunately, President Trump pardoned J6ers.
As Loomer reported in March 2024:
“Democrat Code Pink ‘Mostly Peaceful’ Protesters [were] allowed to vandalize halls of Congress by throwing paint—while peaceful J6ers sit in jail.”
READ THE STORY: Democrat Code Pink Mostly Peaceful Protesters Allowed to Vandalize Halls of Congress by Throwing Paint as Peaceful J6ERS Sit in Jail
The hypocrisy is glaring. Far-left activists who support America’s enemies have been welcomed into the Capitol. Meanwhile, Trump supporters rotted in federal custody for trespassing.
Prior Warnings Ignored by DOJ and Congress
In August 2023, then-Senator Marco Rubio, now Secretary of State, warned DOJ in a letter. It was addressed to then-Attorney General Merrick Garland about Singham and Evans, writing in part:
“I write to express my concern over certain far-left organizations that are reportedly tied to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and operating with impunity in the United States. Combatting Beijing’s malign influence must be a key objective for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). It appears that organizations tied to Neville Roy Singham, a U.S. citizen, have been receiving direction from the CCP…Mr. Singham reportedly created a dark money system that allows him to send funds to a number of far-left organizations. According to New York Times, reporters, “tracked hundreds of millions of dollars to groups linked to Mr. Singham that mix progressive advocacy with Chinese government talking points.”
“…One such organization that is allegedly backed by Mr. Singham is Tricontinental, a Massachusetts-based think-tank that advocates for socialist revolution. Another is Code Pink, an organization that has received more than $1.4 million from two groups linked to Mr. Singham.Code Pink and an affiliated organization, “No Cold War,” deny the Uyghur genocide, assert Beijing’s erroneous territorial claims, and have publicly sparred with Hong Kong pro-democracy movements. Moreover, Mr. Singham has funded CCP party-to-party trainings at the Nkrumah School in South Africa…”
Rubio Letter Ignored by Biden-Era DOJ
Rubio requested for AG Garland to launch an immediate investigation within the DOJ. The scope was to look into the following organizations. Additionally, to review all related organizations linked to Mr. Singham, for potential violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act:
- Code Pink
- No Cold War
- Tricontinental
- United Community Fund
- Justice and Education Fund
- People’s Support Foundation
- New Frame
- People’s Forum
- Dongsheng News
“The CCP is our greatest adversary, and we cannot allow it to abuse our open system topromote its malign influence any longer,” Rubio wrote.
House Natural Resources Committee Raises Alarm
A House Natural Resources Committee letter from November 2023 demanded answers from Code Pink. The letter cited concerns about CCP ties and lobbying activity inconsistent with U.S. interests.
Grassley Urges AG Bondi and FBI Director Patel to Investigate Code Pink
In April 2025, the Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel. Grassley urged the Department of Justice (DOJ) to assess whether The People’s Forum and Code Pink are obligated to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). This is due to the group’s reported ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Code Pink’s Propaganda Campaign on X and Instagram
Code Pink’s online presence tells a disturbing story. Their official account regularly posts videos and graphics defending China’s global ambitions. Code Pink often repeats CCP talking points. All while framing America—not the Chinese regime—as the aggressor in global conflict. Code Pink regularly encourages Americans to “rethink” the narrative about China. They often falsely claim that Americans now view China favorably. Hardly a reality when a Pew Research study revealed that more Americans supported banning TikTok than opposed it. This was especially true for those who were aware of China-based company ByteDance owing the app. In truth, Americans remain critical of Communist China. Especially in the aftermath of the China virus pandemic, which killed 1.2 million American citizens.
Code Pink has a strong presence on Capitol Hill. They regularly lobby and disrupts Congress over matters that seemingly coincide with the strategic efforts of the CCP. Furthermore, Code Pink’s work aligns with foreign policy that is beneficial to China’s interests.
An X user known as @DataRepublican noted, “CODE PINK… runs a literal pro-CCP feed right here on X. Is Jodie Evans violating FARA too?”
Despite Code Pink’s denial of CCP funding, their open alignment with Beijing’s foreign policy objectives raises serious questions about compliance with the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). FARA is a law that requires disclosure by individuals or groups lobbying on behalf of foreign powers.
‘China Is Not Our Enemy’: Code Pink’s Pro-CCP Campaign
In 2020, the same year as the China Virus pandemic, Code Pink launched their “China Is Not Our Enemy” campaign to serve as a hub for pro-CCP content targeting American policymakers and citizens. Through a series of carefully branded webinars, community calls, events, book club meetings, toolkits, and direct lobbying efforts, the organization seeks to recast the Chinese Communist Party as a benevolent force. On its official website, Code Pink features propaganda-laden materials such as the “Disarm Discourse Toolkit,” which accuses U.S. media and defense policy of stoking fear and warmongering toward China. Their campaign page whitewashes Beijing’s role in global conflicts and claims the real threat to peace is American military expansion.
Webinars hosted under this banner have included titles like “China’s Vision for the Future” and “Stop the New Cold War.” Travel blogs and reports from Code Pink delegations to China portray life under the CCP as orderly, enlightened, and superior to Western democracy.
Other materials like “Inhumane Deportations” and “Disarm Discourse: China” attempt to conflate U.S. border policy with alleged American imperialism while deflecting from China’s own human rights abuses. These resources, amplified across social media, serve to indoctrinate U.S. audiences with CCP-aligned narratives while undermining national security discourse in Congress. The goal is to disguise propaganda as independent content.
Code Pink: China’s Influence Network in America
Content on Code Pink’s China Is Not The Enemy Instagram account contains a series of comic-strip styled cartoons portraying China as an innocent and misunderstood global partner, while framing the U.S. as hostile and needlessly aggressive. This is in a clear effort to shape public opinion in ways that are beneficial to the Chinese Government while lobbying Congress to cut the U.S. defense budget.
Some of these illustrations present China as a good steward for Climate Change as global leaders in the advancement of green energy technology, ignoring the fact that Elon Musk created Tesla, an American EV company.
RedNote: Code Pink’s CCP-Endorsed TikTok Alternative
Through its official campaign page, Code Pink sells Pro-China merch and promotes the use of RedNote (known as Xiaohongshu in China) to replace TikTok, stating, “Download RedNote and Connect with China.”
RedNote, a known CCP-linked social media platform, is considered the Chinese alternative to Instagram.

RedNote is subject to China’s stringent internet laws and operates under direct censorship and oversight by the Chinese Communist Party. According to a 2025 report in The Diplomat, U.S. national security experts have raised red flags about RedNote’s rapid growth in the American market, describing it as a possible influence operation coordinated by the CCP to shape public discourse through algorithmic content control and surveillance mechanisms.
Academic Indoctrination and Socialist Fronts
In 2018, Code Pink co-hosted a socialist forum titled “China and the Left” The event was co-hosted and live-streamed by the People’s Forum and the Qiao Collective—two known Marxist-aligned organizations with sympathetic views toward the Chinese Communist Party. The event featured a talk by Madison Tang, who leads the “China Is Not Our Enemy” campaign at Code Pink. Tang’s presentation, titled “Orientalism & Imperialism of the U.S. Empire: The Stakes of U.S. Projection,” criticized American foreign policy and promoted a vision of global anti-imperialist struggle in alignment with CCP objectives.
Tang openly teaches anti-capitalist curriculum to students and advocates for “transnational socialism” and “anti-imperialist solidarity.” Her public appearances and speaking engagements have included events funded by Neville Roy Singham’s network and multiple conferences known for amplifying Chinese state narratives.
Pro-Hamas, Anti-Israel, and Anti-American Rhetoric
Code Pink’s alignment with enemies of the United States doesn’t end with China. They are openly hostile towards Israel and lobby Congress against our longstanding ally. Loomer previously documented the group’s participation in a 2023 pro-Hamas rally organized by American Muslims for Palestine. A group banned from Israel due to its terrorist ties.
According to Influence Watch, “Code Pink [has been a long-time] supporter of the “Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions” (BDS) campaign which seeks to ostracize Israel from the international community. Israeli officials have barred entry to the country by Code Pink under a law prohibiting foreign activists for BDS from entering Israel.”
“Code Pink is openly anti-Trump, anti-American, anti-Israel, pro-Chinese Communist Party, [anti-ICE], and pro-Islamic regime.” —Laura Loomer @LauraLoomer on X post 2:23 PM · Oct 6, 2023
Medea Benjamin, another Code Pink co-founder, was photographed by Loomer holding signs that read “No $ to Israel – Code Pink,” further demonstrating the group’s anti-Israel, anti-American agenda.
In 2019, the group demanded pop star Lionel Richie cancel his concert in Israel. That same year, Jennifer Lopez defied them by performing in Tel Aviv, calling their BDS efforts a “joke.”

From Beijing to Hamas: Code Pink’s Global Anti-American Agenda
On October 8, 2023, the New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) held a controversial rally in Times Square just one day after Hamas terrorists murdered over 1,400 Israelis in a brutal assault. The rally—which many described as a celebration of the massacre—included speakers who praised the attacks and justified the mass kidnapping and murder of innocent civilians. Participants burned Israeli flags and mocked mourners grieving the previous day’s atrocities. Apart from the far-Left, this rally was deeply concerning for most Americans. A resolution was even introduced in Congress to condemn this anti-Semitic rally.
Among the organizers and supporters of the rally were affiliates of The People’s Forum, a Marxist organization co-funded by Neville Roy Singham and Jodie Evans. The People’s Forum, which regularly partners with Code Pink, issued a statement defending the protest as part of a global solidarity movement with Palestine. Code Pink itself participated in a follow-up event on October 9, 2023, further aligning with groups that glorify Hamas terrorism while demonizing Israel.
These organizations often share overlapping personnel, messaging platforms and donor networks. Code Pink, The People’s Forum, and Singham-backed media accounts all amplified support for the October 8th rally under the slogan “All Out for Palestine.”
Ban Them Now
Code Pink has demonstrated a clear ideological allegiance to the Chinese Communist Party, supports terrorist-linked groups like Hamas, and openly campaigns against American interests abroad. Their continued presence inside the U.S. Capitol is a national security risk.
Speaker Johnson must act swiftly. Congress cannot allow Marxist operatives with ties to adversarial foreign governments to infiltrate the Capitol under the guise of “peace activism.”
The marriage of Jodie Evans and Neville Roy Singham is not just romantic—it’s a geopolitical pipeline of foreign propaganda into the heart of American democracy. Code Pink is not a peace group. It is a Chinese Communist front operation exploiting our society to spread foreign disinformation, erode U.S. sovereignty, and radicalize American youth against their own country.
Thanks to Laura Loomer’s reporting and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s swift action, the tide is finally turning. Congress must ban Code Pink from the Capitol.
Immediately.
