U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has reportedly acted on a tip linked to Barron Trump’s closest friend, leading to the detention of a well-known social media figure.
Barron Trump, the son of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, has largely remained out of the public eye since returning to the White House. However, individuals within his social circle are now gaining attention for their involvement in high-profile political developments.
Bo Loudon, a conservative social media personality, told Fox News he conducted his own investigation into TikTok star Khaby Lame, who has more than 160 million followers. Loudon claims his findings helped ICE pursue the influencer as part of the administration’s deportation efforts.
Loudon alleged that Lame violated U.S. immigration laws, including overstaying his visa and failing to pay taxes. He said his independent research identified Lame as a significant case for the government to address.
“I had people from Dubai and some of his business partners reach out to me,” Loudon said. “I found he was evading taxes and had entered the country dozens of times on an expired visa. He was given many chances to fix things.”
According to Loudon, Lame had until June 1 to leave the U.S. voluntarily but did not comply with the deadline, per Trending Politics.
Lame’s spokesperson denied that the TikTok personality was detained, calling the reports “fake news” in a statement to NBC News.
However, ICE confirmed that Lame, whose legal name is Seringe Khabane Lame and who holds dual Senegalese and Italian citizenship, re-entered the U.S. on April 30. ICE said he was given “voluntary departure” after being stopped at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
Bo Loudon, 18, is the son of conservative media figure Gina Loudon and former Missouri state senator John William Loudon. He is also widely known as Barron Trump’s best friend.
Before the situation became public, Loudon posted to X (formerly Twitter) that ICE had detained Lame, whom he identified as a “far-left TikToker” and an “illegal alien.” He claimed Lame was being held at the Henderson Detention Center under ICE custody.
“The Trump team works at LIGHTING SPEED!” Loudon wrote in his post.
In a separate interview, Loudon said he alerted members of Trump’s administration to Lame’s status and received confirmation that they would investigate the matter quickly.
“I called some people in the administration and they said, ‘we’re gonna get on this right quick,’” Loudon stated.
Loudon has reportedly been a key figure in helping shape Barron Trump’s efforts to connect with young conservative influencers, including podcast hosts and streamers like Theo Von, Adin Ross, and Joe Rogan.
He has been credited with playing a role in increasing Republican appeal among Generation Z, especially young men.
“It was the honor of my life to be able to organize and attend the LEGENDARY stream between Rightful President Trump and my friend @AdinRoss,” Loudon previously said. “GEN-Z STANDS WITH TRUMP!”
