Fox News host Mark Levin accused Tucker Carlson of “planting stories” about him as the public feud between the two former colleagues took another nasty turn.
The former Reagan administration official and bestselling author unloaded on Carlson, seeming to refer to a Politico report that he’s been lobbying President Donald J. Trump to allow Israel to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities as all the usual warmongers ratchet up their hysteria over the Islamic Republic’s quest for nuclear weapons.
In a Wednesday post to X, Levin assailed Carlson, whom he insinuated was on the payroll of the billionaire Koch family and the Qatari government and is working to undermine “Team America.”
Chatsworth Qatarlson is very angry. Busy leaking to and planting stories with his media pals. Burning up his cellphone with calls to his embeds in government and his Koch-heads at the Quincy institute. A desperate man does desperate things. God bless Team America!…

“Chatsworth Qatarlson is very angry. Busy leaking to and planting stories with his media pals. Burning up his cellphone with calls to his embeds in government and his Koch-heads at the Quincy institute. A desperate man does desperate things. God bless Team America!” Levin wrote.
The snide nickname he gave Carlson is a reference to the bowtie-wearing spoiled billionaire TV character Chatsworth Osborne Jr., played by actor Steve Franken in the early 1960s series “The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis,” which also starred a pre-Gilligan Bob Denver. Earlier in his career, Carlson used to sport a bowtie like the snobbish character in the sitcom.
It also suggests that the former Fox News host is a mouthpiece for Qatar, ironic because Democrats constantly accuse Carlson of being a Putin puppet.
Carlson, who opposes the foreign conflicts that neocons are constantly clamoring for, got under the Fox host’s skin with a post to X that accused him of being a chickenhawk, one who delights in sending others off to die in the wars that they demand to be fought, usually based on some overexaggerated boogeyman like Saddam Hussein and his non-existent Weapons of Mass Destruction.

“Mark Levin was at the White House today, lobbying for war with Iran. To be clear, Levin has no plans to fight in this or any other war. He’s demanding that American troops do it,” he wrote in a lengthy June 4 post.
Levin’s resorting to name-calling seems to be a sign that Carlson has taken up residence inside his head and is living there rent-free.
On Tuesday’s edition of his radio show, Levin defended his White House visit by citing his friendship with Trump.

“He and I are very close friends,” he said, adding of Trump, “the president knows exactly where I stand on Iran and he told me he knows exactly where I stand on Iran because he watches my shows on Fox.”
Levin said that the sources for the Politico story were “a group of people who were pushing propaganda,” and insisted, “What I am not doing and what I would not do to Donald Trump is lead a lobbying campaign of hawks.”
“I know who the leakers are,” Levin claimed, adding, “it’s the isolationists who are doing it, it’s them, they’re doing it, they’re trying to undermine the president, and what they’re actually doing America is they’re making his job 1,000 times more difficult.”
In another recent X post, Levin branded Carlson as a “loathsome ass” as the war of words went nuclear.
He burps again.
Yes, I know … Carlson has become a loathsome ass who is increasingly unhinged and pathetic. Our nation’s enemies love him, as do certain vile and weird conspiracy theorists he promotes. I will address him, again, and his barely literate and utterly incoherent…

“The one thing that people like Mark Levin don’t want is a peaceful solution to the problem of Iran, despite the obvious benefits to the United States. They denounce anyone who advocates for a deal as a traitor and a bigot,” Carlson said.
“Don’t screw with me, you little bastard,” Levin previously warned.
