Fires raged in Los Angeles. Cars burned. Rioters attacked police. But who is to blame for this chaos? If you ask California Governor Gavin Newsom, the answer is simple: President Donald Trump. Newsom actually said Los Angeles “didn’t have a problem” with these anti-ICE riots until President Trump decided to step in and help.
While California’s cities burned, Newsom and other Democrat leaders seemed more interested in pointing fingers than in stopping the violence. They complained when President Trump sent the National Guard to protect citizens and restore order. It seems they would rather let the chaos continue than admit their own policies have failed the Golden State.
But then, Vice President JD Vance stepped up. He had something to say to Governor Newsom. Vance wasn’t buying Newsom’s excuses. On social media, Vance showed pictures of cars burning and rioters attacking an ICE vehicle. He asked Newsom, “Does this look like ‘no problem’?” Vance made it clear these problems started before President Trump sent help.
The Vice President didn’t stop there. He laid out the hard truth for Governor Newsom. Vance showed how Newsom’s story just didn’t add up. The facts showed California was already in trouble.
From ‘The Post Millennial,’ quoting JD Vance:
“You sure as hell had a problem before President Trump came along. The problem is YOU.”
Vance explained that Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass actually “fomented and encouraged the riots.” Why? Vance said their whole goal is “to promote mass migration into our country.” It’s what their political movement is all about.
According to Vance, California’s own liberal policies are like a welcome mat for trouble. The state offers things like taxpayer-funded Medicaid to illegal immigrants. Vance called these policies a “magnet,” drawing more illegal immigration. These policies, he said, protected illegal migrants from “common sense law enforcement.”
Vance pointed out that Democrat leaders don’t have real solutions for the economy or for safety. Instead, he said, “They use their power when they’re in the majority to import millions of illegal immigrants and when they’re in opposition they do everything possible to prevent deportations.” No wonder Los Angeles turned into what Vance called a “war zone.”
President Trump himself called Newsom “grossly incompetent.” While Newsom whined and even sued to stop the President from helping, Trump took action. He sent in troops to protect Americans. Vance supported this strong action, saying, “This administration will not be intimidated by lawlessness.”
Vance perfectly summed up the twisted logic of Newsom and his friends. He said they believe, “People who were already violating the law are only violating the law because President Trump started enforcing the law.” It’s clear who’s really to blame for the mess in California.
It’s not President Trump’s fault that California is struggling. The trouble in Los Angeles is what happens when liberal ideas go unchecked for too long. Real leaders face problems head-on. They don’t look for someone else to blame when their state is in crisis. Americans deserve safety, and they deserve leaders who put their people first, not political games.
