Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army, the Navy, the Marine Corps, the Air Force, or the Space Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both. –Title 18, U.S. Code, Section 1385, Posse Comitatus Act of 1878
In this episode, we’ll take a look at the Posse Comitatus Act in light of what’s taking place in LA right now. We’ll also point to the ONLY law enforcers mentioned in our Constitution, which is the able-bodied men, ages 17-45. Why is Congress not doing their job as stipulated in Article I, Section 8, Clauses 15-16? Why also, is the President moving military into civilian areas against those same sections that allows ONLY Congress to authorize them?
