It was inevitable that Nancy Pelosi would take the lead in defending the anti-ICE rioters in Los Angeles.
Democrats want to make stopping mass deportations their hill to die on.
But Nancy Pelosi asked one question to Donald Trump that instantly blew up in her face.
California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass allowed left-wing paramilitary mobs to ransack Los Angeles and attempt to murder police officers by throwing bricks and heavy electric scooters at them.
These violent militias also attacked federal buildings and officers to obstruct immigration enforcement actions by ICE.
ICE rounded up murderers, drug traffickers, and sexual predators among the illegal aliens arrested.
The left is making it clear it opposes all deportations.
President Trump wasn’t about to allow a repeat of the 2020 George Floyd insurrection to take place.
The president deployed 4,000 National Guard troops and 700 Marines to restore law and order after Newsom and Bass fell in league with the insurrectionists.
If Donald Trump supports something, Democrats automatically oppose him.
Even though supporting the Black Lives Matter insurrection in 2020 proved massively unpopular, Democrats like Nancy Pelosi couldn’t help but run headfirst into a brick wall again.
Pelosi began attacking Trump for deploying the National Guard by claiming Trump never took actions to protect the Capitol on January 6.
“In a bipartisan way, on Jan. 6 — with violence against the Constitution, against the Congress and against the United States Capitol — we begged the president of the United States to send in the National Guard,” Pelosi told reporters. “He would not do it.”
Pelosi then repeated the lie that Trump supporters killed police officers on January 6.
“When law enforcement people were being harmed — some later died — he would not send [the Guard] in,” Pelosi added.
Pelosi whined about the blanket pardons Trump handed out to his supporters and falsely claimed Trump’s Guard deployment was unconstitutional.
“He forgave those people,” Pelosi continued. “And yet in the contra-constitutional way, he has sent the National Guard into California. Something is very wrong with this picture.”
President Trump pardoned his supporters convicted on January 6 because of the norm-breaking, vindictive and unconstitutional prosecutions carried about by the weaponized Biden Department of Justice.
Trump supporters had FBI SWAT teams kick their doors in for nonviolent crimes.
Some Trump supporters rotted away for years in the D.C. jail suffering inhumane conditions and torture awaiting trial.
And the Supreme Court ultimately ruled that the Biden Justice Department unconstitutionally applied an obstructing an official proceeding statute to try and jail Trump supporters for up to 20 years.
And as to Pelosi’s claim that Trump didn’t call in the Guard, Pelosi was caught on camera on the day of January 6 saying that not securing the Capitol was her fault.
“I take responsibility for not having them just prepare for more,” cameras for a documentary filmed by Pelosi’s own daughter caught her saying.

Steven Sund, chief of the Capitol Hill Police on January 6, also posted on social media in response to Pelosi revealing that he made several requests for the National Guard but was turned down by the House Seargent at Arms, who reported to then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
“FACT: I made 11 urgent calls requesting National Guard support on Jan 6, starting at 12:58 PM. Approval was withheld for 71 minutes by the House Sergeant at Arms, who reported directly to Speaker Pelosi. She caused critical delays, and now is shifting blame to @realDonaldTrump for failures she helped create. The record is clear,” Sund wrote on X.
